Vacation rentals with a pool in Castelo de Paiva

Great stay at Arcilio’s place for a family week away. The house is super clean and tidy, well stocked with plenty of crockery and cutlery. The extra kitchen was a real highlight to host a family dinner and enjoy company with a larger group, in a true Portuguese style ! Note: You’ll need a rental car if you’re staying here as Penafiel is a 10mins drive away and roads are not suitable for walking safely all the way. Also if you like a dark room would recommend bringing an eye mask ! Otherwise everything else was more than perfect for our stay :) thank you Arcilio!!

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming little getaway in the heart of the Douro Valley! The house is cozy and beautifully decorated, with stunning views of the terraced vineyards that stretch out as far as the eye can see. It's the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The location is ideal for those wanting to explore the Douro River and its breathtaking landscapes. The tranquillity of the area is unparalleled, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our host was incredibly welcoming and provided us with thoughtful recommendations for things to do in the area. We can't wait to return to this beautiful corner of Portugal!

Abilio and Gina welcomed us very warmly although we arrived late at night. The house is decorated with a lot of love, very cozy and well equipped. The view over the Douro is spectacular - even in bad weather. The house has a very nice garden and a great pool. Ideal for holidays with children. I highly recommend the place!

4 of us loved our stay at Fernanda’s place! Fernanda responded quickly to all of our questions and was flexible with our arrival time. The view was absolutely stunning, the location was convenient and the property was beautiful! Having a car was a necessity for us but we still managed a great walk to a nearby winery. Would definitely recommend Fernanda’s place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ludovic’s; the house is beautiful and modern; the backyard space was inviting with the lovely pool and outdoor kitchen but sadly the rainy weather prevented us from using it. The hosts were helpful and friendly; highly recommend this place!!

Very nice central place. The apartment was really clean and had all facilities you need. It was very close to a lot of resturants and shops. Daniel was really helpful and helped us from and to the airport. He also answered all our questions knowledgeable and fast. I hope I will get back to Porto some day and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Adriano's place is among the best Airbnb we had stayed in. At first, Alice received us and showed us the apartment and the amenities. She even drove us in her car to show us how to get to the garage which was very nice of her. The apartment is spacious, bright, super clean and comfortable. Adriano provides very generous selection of supplies, from extra blankets to kitchen supplies. He is very friendly and quick at responding to questions. We will for sure recommend it to others and will go back again.

We had a lovely time at Sandra’s place We are a family of 4 with two children aged 5 and 7 and the place felt really safe for them to walk around They loved spending time in the garden and in the swimming pool The house was very clean and well equipped (my son was so happy to have found a football !) and exactly as described The beach is at only 10 minutes walking and lots of lovely restaurants within 20 minutes drive 5 stars :)
