Family-friendly vacation rentals in Castelo de Paiva

We really enjoyed our stay! We were 4 people, a couple and two singles. There was plenty of room for everyone. We were attending a wedding nearby so we liked that there were 3 full bathrooms so everyone could get ready and have privacy. The kitchens (upstairs and downstairs) were well stocked. The area was very peaceful and beautiful, but you definitely must have a car because there is nothing within walking distance. We were given plenty of recommendations and instructions regarding the property and the surroundings. We feel like the property is a great value.

What a great place to stay! This large apartment offers plenty of privacy for all guests. The spacious kitchen and living room are perfect for hosting dinner parties, and the highlight is the terrace featuring an outdoor kitchen, hammock, and jacuzzi. It's an amazing place!

Rui and Isabella’s house is amazing. Very private, pristine nature, close to a river. To get there you leave the car at the nearby village and the hosts take you on 4x4 via the rough road. We liked that that house is heated by a fireplace as we enjoy making fire. There are lovely outside baths that are also heated by a woodstove. It takes some time, but the process is great. The hosts are very friendly and give sufficient instructions to operate the house easily. The only small minus is that the generator isn’t powerful enough, so electricity sometimes turns off, especially during cooking, but it turns on after 3-5 minutes again. Yet you can look at it as an incentive to grill something on the barbecue outside) All in all It’s the perfect get-away place if you want a very peaceful rest.

We greatly appreciate the exceptional accommodations provided. The host was an exceptional individual, and we highly recommend their services. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

Great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city, cozy place, easy access to restaurants and markets, beautiful river around, several points to know, and Mr. Carlos's reception was excellent, highly recommended! Spot more for the beautiful cats that also received us on arrival!

I really enjoyed Bruno's place, the host was helpful, he spoke English very well. Wonderful location, great views of great people, close to subway and bolt also commute. Great

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing to improve would be the garden chairs . They are really not comfortable. Everything else was perfect.

I would HIGHLY recommend anyone that wants to check Porto out to stay with Luis! Not only was the price amazing, but Luis gave us so much value. I let him know what time our flight was landing and he accommodated us with an earlier check in. He tracked our flight and texted me perfect instructions to get to the airbnb from the airport. I went with my partner and he would text me every day with recommendations throughout the day. He even gave us some romantic recommendations tailored specifically to what we mentioned to him that we liked. His place is close to everything in Porto! We didnt have to buy a single taxi and did everything we wanted to in Porto! We were there for 4 days total and we did Porto in 2 days. So we decided to take a day trip to Aveiro and Luis even went out of his way to research and give us recommendations for our day trip! The wifi was amazing and anytime I go to Porto I will be exclusively booking with Luis!

The stay at Abi and Regina's house was fantastic. The apartment has everything you need to spend a few days and we felt right at home. It is a beautiful and intimate home ideal for resting and disconnecting. The surroundings of the farm are wonderful. As soon as we arrived, Regina visited us to get to know the whole place and we were able to see her orchards and eat some tangerines that were very rich. That night we attended a magical lantern show that Abi and Regina offered to some international students and the next day Abi himself visited the museum they have on the property. Listening to Abi's explanations and taking a tour of her life and work and Regina's was a privilege. Seeing so much passion in what they do has been a wonderful gift. We had a great time in this house, it really is a luxury to be able to live in such an inspiring and beautiful place. We are already looking forward to spending a few days here again!

A quiet spot in the heart of it all! We were SO lucky to get to stay at Casa da Catedral for our recent visit to Porto. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we woke up and saw how close to the cathedral we were — as well as the walking bridge to the Gaia district! Just up the hill, the funicular and many bus stops. Go further, and you’re right in the heart of Porto. Also a short walk to Sao Bento station. We were able to savor the neighborhood, and our day trips, thanks to how quiet and comfortable the apartment was when we returned. Overall, fantastic stay! We would book here again in a heartbeat.

Exceptional value. Very responsive. Was met by Tatiana and she reviewed tge condo with us. There was underground parking for our car. Very central location woth beautiful views.

Very friendly people, always pending, attentive, I recommend 100% a beautiful large house, cozy, with many things to see area spactacular, and the rooms and bathrooms very nice, the kitchen clean and organized, appliances that want TVs everywhere the best I have seen

This was the most magical place for our family of five. I now want to come back and try all of Miguel’s other properties. A true highlight was taking advantage of the connections to local vendors that come with the hosts recommendations. Private dinner at the Pinta Lounge was amazing . I said to my husband at one point , “ I am so happy I could cry” - that sums up this cottage.

Joao was incredible to deal with as he was so kind and helpful. The accommodation was perfect for us as the kitchen, living and dining spaces were amazing. The parking was spacious and secure. the best part was the inviting backyard and pool area. We had an amazing to at Joaos and thank him and his wife for being so accomodating.

We stayed here for a week. Isabel met up with us even though we were much too early. She was very friendly and the accommodation was very clean and nice, everything you would need was there. There was a Lidl-shopping store very close so you could buy breakfast and eat at the room, there was also a few restaurants nearby but we never tried them out. Getting around was easy and cheap with Uber, the Buddah-house was centred pretty good between everything you want to see in Porto. We would love to come back sometime in the future, we can truly recommend staying with Isabel and Filipe when visiting Porto.

The most beautiful setting, comfy house and cool little pool with a view. Absolutely amazing place to stay to soak in a unique and wonderful area.

Anabela and Jose were great hosts. We had dinner in their house one night, the food was delicious and they served their own wine with dinner. They were very helpful and welcoming.

We had the perfect stay in Teresa apartment! The apartment is beautiful! we had everything we needed and more. Teresa was so nice and caring and available for every question we had. We will definitely come back!

Such a relaxing and beautiful spot. We have a lovely slow day at the cabin, making the most of the food the trees and vines had to offer. Fabulous!

Great place with everything you need for a family vacation. We loved the large garden and pool. The house has everything you need, with a fully equipped kitchen. Maria and her husband were very friendly! We would love to stay there again
