Maria and family are friendly & responsive. They have everything we need in the little cosy home. Though it's a super rainy day when we arrive, the place is so warm and lovely!

Vera is truly an amazing hostess! She went out of her way to accomodate my recent medical issues and even offered to have me stay in her own home for the duration of our 5 day visit. The house is close to Obidos, Ericeira, Sintra many awesome Portuguese "must sees" and is a 15 minute drive to the ocean. Situated in the middle of beautiful rolling hills and vineyards, with outstanding local wines (which she gifted us with), it is an old, and partly new, generational estate and we could see and enjoy much history and hospitality of their family. This place is worth every penny and we hope to be back and we will recommend our family from the US to stay here when they visit Portugal.

Our stay wad amazing! Francisco is an exceptional host. Cheese, jam, wine and cookies were awaiting us upon arrival, and fresh bread in the mornings! Francisco was very helpful and responsive, kind and understanding too. He gave us recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the neighborhood. The house is beautifully renovated. The environment is very calm and peaceful. Our little one was so sad to leave that he gave a hug to the house before we departed😆

Our second stay in this apartment that perfectly matches what we are looking for in Alenquer, a small town that we really appreciate for its charm, tranquility and proximity to Lisbon.
