House vacation rentals in Carlux

Fantastic property in a great location. We loved how private it felt whilst still only being a short hop to breath taking locations. The pool is outstanding and everything is clean and catered for. If you want to visit a beautiful place, receive a wonderful warm welcome and be sad to leave then this is the place for you!

One week stay during the Toussaint 2024 holidays with 2 adults + 3 children. Old house with 4 bedrooms + 1 bathroom and toilet upstairs (+billiards and foosball!), and on the living room ground floor +kitchen+1 other bathroom/wc. For 5 very comfortable with lots of space and just what you need in terms of furnishings. The house was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and functional. Didn't get a chance at this time to go into the garden or use the pool. Possibility to park the car (minivan 7pl) in the small courtyard in front of the house. Possibility to walk to town from the house + with the car quite a few sites to visit within 45 minutes. José is very proactive in making sure everything goes smoothly.

This beautiful Gite was perfect for us. We loved the peaceful location, the well kept grounds and the beautiful pool area which we only sometimes shared with the 2 occupants of the smaller gite. Often, we had it to ourselves. Chris and Debbie were really lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations- from markets to local restaurants. They set up a private chat group when we arrived so they could be on call if required and pass on any useful information. Debbie arrived at our door one day as we headed out for a trip with a cool box, which was a lovely gesture . On another day, she arrived at the pool with a jug of chilled sangria. Their lovely friendliness contributed to our enjoyment of this property. As someone who is often a gourmet buffet for local insect life, the mosquito nets over the beds were very welcome. Our girls loved the grounds, including the swing next to the gite, although the pool made it for them. We would happily recommend it to everyone we know.

Very great accommodation. Extremely clean and well-equipped. Pleasant setting. Very good communication and responsiveness, the hosts were accommodating during the stay. I recommend it and hope to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoors.

We had a wonderful stay at Florence's in her beautiful rural house located in the splendid Dordogne Valley. Florence was an exemplary host, always available, very kind and full of good tips for discovering this rich region. The house was impeccably clean, very quiet, perfect for resting and enjoying nature. In the evening, we were able to admire an incredible starry sky thanks to the low light pollution, which made our experience even more magical. Thanks to Florence for an unforgettable stay!

Sylvie's place was perfect for our stay. There is nothing missing in the house and Sylvie even thought of the little ones by offering us a baby bath and dishes suitable for infants (not including the crib and high chair). The accommodation is very clean. It was a pleasant stay in this quiet house. Sylvie takes care to welcome families and it's easy to communicate with her. We'll be happy to go back to Sylvie's place.

Accommodation in a very peaceful and quiet environment. The house has a lot of charm, and the heated pool without vis-à-vis is very nice. The house was very clean as well as linens. Self check-in and checkout, which went very well. If you have any questions, Emmanuel is very responsive. Only small downside, for a house intended for 6 people alone 3 glasses on foot and the room in the living room is not intended for 6 people. Otherwise, the rest is perfect!

We had a lovely stay at Julien & Michelles property,The property was very clean and modern.We particulary enjoyed use of the swimming pool .as the weather was exceptionally hot during our stay.Maria sorted any issues out very promptly and we would definitely look to return in the future.

Welcome nickel, Stéphane is super nice, we are quickly comfortable. The house is well heated, the shower is hot and the bedding is excellent. The forest less than a hundred meters away allowed children to have fun in complete safety. Some cooking utensils would need to be replaced... A small detail that didn't stop us from having a really nice time in this house. I recommend it without a problem.

We only stayed 3 days without unfortunately being able to enjoy the very nice pool for lack of capricious weather, but appreciated the many quality household appliances, sufficient dishes, etc. The house is very well-equipped and very clean. Our host was responsive and attentive to our comfort.

Very pleasant accommodation, in perfect condition, it seems almost new. The common areas are very nice, large, nicely decorated and the bedrooms are also very beautiful and comfortable. Everything is perfectly equipped including the kitchen: everything is there, including nice large wine glasses. Large garden behind the house with covered terrace; it was not barbecues season but it makes you want to come back!

Excellent stay at Jacques and Florence's. Well appointed and spacious accommodation, the surroundings are superb and beautiful discovery of the lake with beach nearby. Very friendly couple, easy to connect and flexible.

Very good stay in Groléjac to end the year 2024. The accommodation is perfect for 2: very comfortable, very well-equipped and very well located for visiting the many remarkable sites of Périgord Noir and the banks of the Dordogne. Thierry is a very welcoming host.

We had a great stay at Muriel's, it's exactly the holidays we needed... quiet, with everything we needed to take care of on site (swimming pool, large garden, large living spaces, all the essentials for a baby and much more...), moreover the accommodation offers high quality services (functional and very well equipped kitchen, covered pool, air conditioning, storage... everything is decorated and furnished with great taste, everything is done to make you feel at home. Thank you Muriel for your hospitality, your kindness, your recommendations, your availability and your little touches. We won't hesitate to return!

Quietly located accommodation which is very nice, while remaining close to Brive for all the shops, there is nothing missing! Sandrine and her husband are very welcoming! They are good tips for restaurants and local activities/tours. The pool is very nice even if the weather for our week wasn't there to make the most of it. The accommodation is exactly as described, it is very well equipped and very clean. We wouldn't have to worry about coming back!

We had a great family stay at Sandrine's house. The place is perfect for a family, the house is spacious, very pleasant and very well located, on foot from the city center of Perigueux. I highly recommend it!

Lovely gîte in beautiful setting with fantastic outside spaces. Superb pool with beautiful views towards Sarlat. Wonderfully equipped accommodation with everything you could need. It was lovely to turn up and have the beds made and not have to shop for any of the essentials such as dishwasher tablets, bin bags etc. Katie was a wonderful host, with a great knowledge of the area. She provided an excellent welcome pack which we really appreciated. We had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to recommend.

An ideal place to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature, quiet, and in the middle of the holm oaks while being close to the pretty village of Catus, its local shops and its Lac Vert. The covered terrace allows for perfect moments of relaxation and healing. Communication with Stéphanie and Stéphane is perfect in terms of the organization of the stay, access to the accommodation until the day of departure. A place where you feel "at home", which makes you want to come back or share.
