Luxury Cottage with Sauna, Hot Tub and Sea Views

CarolineRating, 5 stars11 months ago
One of the loveliest places we've ever stayed! Superb and spacious accommodation, beautifully decorated and really well & thoughtfully equipped - it will *exceed* your expectations. With the sauna and hot tub, it's not easy to drag yourself out of the house! And to top it off, the view across the loch is utterly mesmerising. Vivienne was a great host, letting us know everything we needed and leaving a lovely welcome pack. The house is in a peaceful location that is still handy for the main road and great for interesting local walks .... if you can drag yourself away! Can't recommend highly enough 😊

Seacroft, seaviews, tranquil, rural Highlands

AnneRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We loved the cosy cottage with its beautiful views. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice artwork in every room too. The single track roads are scary if you're not used to them - especially the road up to the lighthouse! But we enjoyed walking along the cliffs from there to the view of a natural arch and sandy beach way down below. I can recommend the walkhighlands app, which has good instructions and you can download them in advance. We particularly enjoyed the Gairloch Beach and Pier walk (although it seemed to be much longer than they claimed) and the Flowerdale waterfall walk.

Great place to stay while exploring the local area. The apartment has everything you need including food and cooking basics. Spotless and comfortable. Welcoming to our children and dog. Beautiful spot with incredible views - only slight thing to be aware of is the power station next door but that didn't spoil our enjoyment at all.

indigo - Traditional Croft House in Edinbane

LindsayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Indigo was the perfect base for our stay on Skye! It's in Edinbane which is about 15-20 minutes from Portree and probably about the same maybe a little less to Dunvegan which was perfect for us! The house is so well stocked and so well kept and everything has instructions but if you have any questions Udi and Zohar are so quick to reply! I would stop at the food co-op on your way to the house so you don't have to turn around and head back to Portree as soon as you get to the house. The view from the front windows is second to none and it was so peaceful while being no more than 30 or 40 minutes to anything we wanted to see or do. Oh! And there's a full freestanding dryer so we were able to do laundry so quickly which was a huge plus!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Udi and Zohar for a perfect stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tigh Beag. The house was well presented and met all our needs. There is a lovely large lounge and kitchen/dining room which is great for larger parties. There were only 3 in our party so the house gave us plenty of space to enjoy. It is in a beautiful setting and very quiet.

We had a truly unforgettable stay at this lovely Airbnb in Broadford on the Isle of Skye in the Highlands. The location is absolutely breathtaking—set against a backdrop of green pastures dotted with grazing sheep, it felt like something out of a postcard. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and well-appointed. One of the highlights was the kitchen, with big beautiful windows for your viewing pleasure as well as everything we needed to cook full meals after our days of exploring. From quality cookware, to a big refrigerator for food and drinks, as well as plenty of cutlery, dishes and drinkware for all your needs. The location was in walking distance to restaurants as well as minutes from grocery store, gas, and coffee.. This was the perfect base for exploring the area. Coming "home" to such a warm and peaceful setting made the experience even more special. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with all the comforts of home—and views you’ll never forget
