Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Carara

We had the loveliest time at this beachfront house. The pool is gorgeous - not too warm or cold. It was so refreshing to relax in the pool and stare at the waves. The house is in the best part of Esterillos, right in front of the “mermaid” and the tide pools. The house is well designed and makes use of all the spaces. It was clean and well equipped. You can also walk to the nearby store and there are a few good restaurants just a block or two away walking along the beach. It was an amazing place to share with family, we will be back!

Amazing space! Came for the surfing and the waves did not disappoint! Private chef cooked an amazing dinner one night. Everyone was wonderful from the host to the house cleaner who came daily. We walked to restaurants and bars. Whole experience was amazing!

We had an amazing stay at the home. Maud was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Great local recommendations and even helped booked a reservation for my wife’s birthday dinner. We hired Chef Ezequiel to make lunch the first there. Delicious food and would highly recommend. 10/10 Stay and look forward to coming back soon! Book this

Chris is the Man! For context, my girlfriend and I had another bnb in the area that lost power and water for 2 days! I had to book an emergency stay and Chris accommodated and responded swiftly even though it was very short notice. We fell more in love with his property than our original one lol. 10/10 stay loved the vibezz.

We had the best stay at Val and Oscar’s home. Our group had 1 family in the upstairs apartment and the other family in the downstairs apartment, and it was such a great arrangement for our group. The apartments were both beautiful and comfortable, and we absolutely loved the outdoor space. The kids loved the pool and we layed out in the hammocks and watched scarlet macaws fly by. We would love to come back again someday. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect! The location and the house all met our expectations. Danny & the team were always kind and approachable. When we found that wasps were building a nest at the house, the team was there within an hour and the issue was resolved immediately. The pool was clean and in the best condition. We had the best vacation and would be happy to come back!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. We especially enjoyed hanging around the pool and deck area. The host even had a few pool toys set out and our kids loved them. Beds are very comfortable and the house is stocked with everything you need. Esterillos is a very quiet place away from the crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable, impeccably located, well-equipped little condo in a great building in one of my favorite neighborhoods. We had a couple of requests since we are a family and had an extended stay of 2 weeks and John and Wanda were super communicative and accommodating. I used the gym often and walked the neighborhood everyday. You could easily walk to markets and restaurants. We loved visiting the Wednesday afternoon smaller farmer’s market and the more substantial Saturday morning one by the main Santa Ana park. Would recommend and stay again.

Great location and price

Lilli and Till provide the kind of idyllic and quiet space travellers of all stripes can find utterly peaceful and beautiful. This last trip was my third time visiting in five months, and I'll likely return...the garden-like grounds, the sparkling pool, the quietude built-into the grounds makes for a soothing and rewarding experience.

A cozy house, it covered all the needs of my family. We will definitely be back

I had a wonderful stay at Fanny’s place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect – close to everything but still peaceful and quiet at night. Fanny was a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and always happy to help with any questions. I really appreciated her attention to detail and the warm welcome. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend her place to anyone visiting the area!

I had a great stay in this apartment in Playa Jacó. The place is very quiet, perfect for resting, and it is well located to enjoy the beach without the hustle and bustle. The apartment was clean, well-equipped and the price was fair for everything it offered. Would definitely recommend and come back in the future.

Andy’s place is by far the best spot you can stay in beautiful Los suenos the views off the balcony was breathtaking all times of day and macaws fly right by the balcony every evening and morning the private pools and grilling stations made dinners a breeze to unwind after action packed days I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to travel to such a amazing destination

Absolutely loved Jhonathan’s place! It was perfect walking distance from everything (the beach, bars, yummy restaurants, supermarket, etc) and in a gated community where all the staff were so friendly and nice. On the days where the beach was too much, we hung out by the villas beautiful community pool and enjoyed the quiet surroundings. The villa itself was the perfect size and super clean. We are already planning a trip back! Would definitely recommend!
