Lory's place is as described, the terrace is fantastic as are the views over the sea and to the horizon. There are a couple of good restuarants close by but you will need a car to fully enjoy the experience. A great quiet place to relax, unwind and get away from everyday life.

Great apartment for our three-night stay. Marco’s friendly welcome and helpful tips on what to see and do was appreciated, as was the bottle of cold white wine which went down a treat after navigating those crazy streets! Marco showed us the car park and then delivered our bags to the foot of the stairs to the apartment. The view is incredible, the apartment clean and comfortable. We appreciated the two bathrooms and washing machine. Easy walking distance to the main town and a short uphill hike on the way back to help digest all the good food and gelato. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Francesco's vacation home is great on the slope of Etna with a terrace view to the north-east. From the terrace, you can enjoy a beautiful view over the vineyards and the valley of Linguaglossa. You can really enjoy your peace and quiet there and there are two restaurants within walking distance. A rental car is nevertheless recommended to explore the great surroundings (excursion to Etna - 16 km, beach south of Naxos - about 20 km, Taormina (great recommendation) - about 30 km, gorge of Alcantara - about 20 km and and and). All in all a very nice vacation home for up to 4 people with a great quiet location and fantastic views. We will be happy to come back.

Love this place. Superb balcony with great views and lots of space. Comfortable inside. Seconds to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the Funicular up to central Taormina. Host was great and even let us check out late.

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

I can not recommend this home highly enough. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. Anoeta met us at the ferry port and supported us to hire a car then showed us up the track to the house. She is correct when she says it is quite a rural road and takes a bit of confidence with driving until you are used to it. But it is all worth it. The views are incredible, the outside cooking space is excellent and it is the perfect spot for dinner and a glass of wine. We would have happily stayed for much longer.

This two-level apartment has sensational views of the three active volcanoes. The location invites you to relax and island hikes ( Vulkano; Stromboli ). The furnishings are very tasteful. The host and her son were extremely kind and helpful. We enjoyed the time very much and highly recommend this apartment.

We had a good time at Giuseppe and Antonellas place. Enjoyed the view from the rooftop. It is placed in a charming part of town, with bakery and reTearants close by, and the churchbells ringing!

If you want to stay in Taormina with views of Mt Etna and a beautiful sea view from your very own private balcony then there is no better place to stay. The apartment is well equipped with many thoughtful touches from the owner to ensure you feel welcomed. Gianfranco could not be a better host, even collecting us from the bus terminal when we arrived. Once in the town you can get around easily by foot or by using the local buses. The apartment itself is situated above the town but the views are well worth the many steps you have to climb, if you decide to walk back to the apartment. There are many interesting places to visit including Isola Bella, which can be reached by the cable car down to the beach. The public gardens and ancient Greek theatre are inspiring places to visit. The town itself is filled with wonderful artisan shops and fantastic places to eat. A day trip to Mt Etna is highly recommended. Would we go back? Yes 100%!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is lovely and we felt like home. The terrace is so beautiful with surprising insights to the little church next door. The view from here and the other balcony is great. Castelbuono is a a very very special place and the Mountains and woods around are very beautiful. Dorothea and Sani are very nice, helpful and relaxed people. I wish we would have stayed longer.

The place is in a peaceful street with great views from the private terrace. Recommend!

Right from the start, our hosts went above & beyond to make sure my family had a wonderful first visit to Sicily. Our overnight flight arrived early in the morning, and they were able to accommodate an early check-in, complete with a tour of the apartment’s bedrooms, bathrooms, and two terraces. They showed us around the building, made sure we knew how to access to the pool, and gave us clear instructions for how to get in and out of the garage and pedestrian entrances. They even went so far as to make dinner reservations for us that ensured our 11th wedding anniversary was spectacular and surprised us with a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator. The two bedrooms were perfect for our family of three, and they provided a crib and bed linens for our son. The terraces were incredible, with unobstructed views of the water. The air conditioning was also essential in the hot Sicilian summer. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Taormina

Two couples, English and American, we stayed for 3 nights. The house, garden and terrace are spacious. The terrace is spectacular, overlooking Taormina with views up to Castelmola and across the sea to across to Calabria. Garage parking was included directly across the street. The walk into Taormina is easy. A neighborhood market is a 1-2 minute walk. Castelmola is worth a visit, as is taking the funivia cable car down to the beach. We were sorry our stay wasn't longer.

We absolutely loved the apartment, don’t hesitate to book it. The town and beach were walkable (many stairs to beach) We fell in love with Taormina. The host offers tours as well.

I’m not sure I can sum this up in 1000 words but our stay at Roberto’s was beyond any expectation. Not only was it spotlessly clean, perfectly located and had its own parking, it was a 5 minute walk to the cable car to Taormina town (quick 3-4 min ride). The nearby restaurants were phenomenal especially Bel Assai and Blum. Both walkable within 5 minutes. Roberto as a host is simply the best we’ve ever had. There were multiple snacks and beverages for us upon arrival and everything you could ever want from an Airbnb experience. His charm and care were off the charts. Tanjit, his very strong helper, was available for any questions or inquiries we had as well. All in all it was our favorite stay not only in Sicily but in the course of our 20+ Airbnb’s around the world. To be fair- yes, there are many steps to the property but every single one was worth the experience. If you get the opportunity book it immediately. There’s no place like it in the world.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! It was perfect! Most exceptional for us, since it was our first time in Taormina were the helpful and timely instructions the host provided to us upon arrival as well as during our stay. The unit was extremely clean and well cared for and we had everything we needed! The bed was comfy, the kitchen and bath well-stocked and was very spacious for the two of us. The TV was a smartTV and we were able to load our preferred entertainment. Every morning I enjoyed sitting on the outdoor balcony and listening to the birds and drinking coffee (provided by our host). The alleyway where the unit is located is very quiet and provided a respite from the busy town. The grocery was 2 mins walk away, the parking and the main shopping street 7 mins walk and the sites including the Greek Theatre just 13 mins walk. We are SO thankful for our time at this wonderful place. We would have loved to stay longer! Highly recommend!

Great apartment with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Perfect beach location. Restaurants and supermarket very close. Maria is a great host, making you feel very welcome ready for your Sicilian adventure.

The apartment was in the perfect location, peaceful yet close to the old town. The photos were very accurate of the space with a wonderful balcony and view. The pool is a real bonus. We loved every minute and would definitely return.

Andrea was a wonderful host! His Airbnb was just as pictured, very clean, felt like home. It’s in the perfect location for the area, not directly in the hustle and bustle providing privacy and peace but still only a few short minute walks to everything. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked REALLY well. The best part of this Airbnb was meeting his adorable mom who loves to chat in Italian (we don’t speak a word) and her sweet dog Molly.

We had a fantastic stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. It’s right in town, so everything is within walking distance, yet it still feels quiet and private. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Fantastic location if you want to be away from the crowds & have extremely quick access to beautiful green spaces. Chiara was a fantastic host - I tried several of the restaurants she recommended & they were all wonderful.

As is often the case, the pictures of the view don't come close to the actual view we enjoyed during our stay. Absolutely breathtaking! The apartment was nicely appointed and around a 15 minute walk to the core town activities of Taormina. The owners of the apartment live upstairs and were a joy to get to know. If you love dogs, their sweet Papaya will become your new best friend. Our hosts were very responsive and even brought us some sweet lemon mousse (and shared the recipe!) for us to enjoy. I am quite certain we will be visiting Taormina again, as it is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and I will definitely look to stay here again.

Friendly welcome and super conveniently located relative to the busy center. Would recommend to anyone. Just a few steps down and through the city gate into the city center. For people who are good on their feet!
