We spent a week in Daniele and Chiara's villa and loved the location - within easy reach of many beautiful places to visit - and the quiet and peaceful setting. The villa is just the right size for for a couple and the terrace, with its comfortable outdoor furniture, and the excellent pool were a real treat after a long day of sightseeing. Brilliant!

After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

We spent unforgettable days at Ilaria's house, in a place that exceeded all expectations. The house is simply wonderful: cozy, with attention to detail, surrounded by nature and perfect for those looking for peace, relaxation and authentic beauty. The garden is a corner of paradise and the pool is really the icing on the cake — ideal for fully enjoying the silence and tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. Ilaria is an attentive and very kind host, ready to make every guest feel truly at home. We look forward to coming back!

Very nice and quiet place to relax. Super nice family who lives in the main house and love dogs . Despite language barriers, communication worked well. The location of the cottage is simply fantastic , access with a large car is a bit difficult but feasible . All in all a nice holiday

Beautiful mountain vista from house deck. Helpful suggestions for local activities in house guide book found in room. Bottle of wine complements of host nice touch on arrival. The host’s father lives in neighborhood and came by at checkout to guide us out because local road construction had blocked normal exit. Very kind and thoughtful much appreciated. We walked to supper each night in Montemagno, small town 1.1km away downhill 85M each night for supper. Walking home after dark (uphill) there were thousands of firefly’s lining the dark mountain road it was magical. Peaceful place.

A beautiful cottage! Giuliana was so helpful with booking reservations, helping us get a Taxi when we needed it, helping when we had some issues with our young children. We were very appreciative of her! The kids loved the pool and we have found a new way of making garlic bread with their delicious olive oil! We hope to be back one day!

We had a wonderful vacation with our children (7 & 9 years) in Poggio al Cassone. We were able to reach the cities of Pisa, Lucca, Volterra and Florence very well. For the children, the pool was the highlight after the excursions. The entire complex is beautifully designed, the apartment really large and we didn't miss anything. We can well imagine coming back. :)

We had a couple of fantastic days up in the mountains at Cima alla Serra. We sat every night on the terrace and enjoyed the view and the tranquility, and during the day you could relax by the pool, which was fantastic. Giovanna and the staff on site were very helpful and we are so happy with our stay. Although it is relatively close to Pisa, you should have a car, which we were recommended. We hope to have the opportunity to come back again! Thanks for a couple of nice days :)

Very nice apartment with a great terrace and a beautiful view of beach and sea. The apartment is just as beautiful as in the pictures, very clean and well appointed. The host and his co-hosts were always easily accessible and very nice and friendly. We were here in mid-October and it was very quiet in the house. We would definitely recommend the apartment.

Deborah was the nicest host! She welcomed us with kindness and prepared everything nice for our stay. We would totally recommend the stay there, when you are searching for a quiet stay, but want to go for some Citytrips as well. :)

We stayed at the end of the season in this really nice area and felt right at home on site. The old oil mill and our apartment are generously allowed, corresponded to the description, the photos shown are even better in reality. It was all clean, all the equipment worked and we felt very comfortable. The large swimming pool is a real highlight and has greatly upgraded the stay, especially the children. The reception on site went smoothly and was very well prepared in advance. We enjoyed the time very much and can really highly recommend the accommodation - the value for money is great! An absolutely stunning place! Despite all the glowing reviews, they can’t fully capture the experience of staying here. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a luxurious estate. The grounds and pool are breathtaking, offering a serene and relaxing escape. If you're looking for peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of Lucca and Pisa, this is the perfect place to unwind. What an amazing stay! The location is quiet and peaceful, the views are absolutely amazing and "wow" you as soon as you arrive! The garden is large and partially sloped and the freshwater swimming pool (not heated) is at the bottom. There are two undercover seating areas in the garden and enough sun loungers and seats to comfortably seat everyone. The house is on two levels and feels quirky at first, but you soon get used to it. Downstairs is more like a "granny flat" but has all you need (fridge freezer, bedroom, dining room, bathroom w/shower). Upstairs has two double bedrooms and one twin, plus two more bathrooms. A lovely dining room and kitchen (with all appliances/utensils) you need made the house absolutely perfect for six adults, two toddlers and an infant. There are no larger shops within 20 minutes drive, so stock up well when you do go shopping. Communication with host was extraordinary. So quick and helpful and really appreciated. Absolutely amazing holiday!

Beautiful pool and garden

We really had a wonderful stay. The host welcomed us incredibly warmly and immediately recorded an entire plan for things to do and hidden gems. The kitchen is really WELL equipped. The only small drawback, the mattresses are unfortunately very saggy and you should ventilate a lot, as it is very humid in the lower room due to the shower. Still, this place is HIGHLY recommended !! It was great

It was a really nice and spacious apartment on the lower floor of the beautiful and very well-maintained house, and the garden with the pool was also lovely. Beautiful view. Good beds and nice crib and high chair. Clean and tidy and everything was to be found. The host couple lived above, but we hardly heard and saw them, so it was lovely private. It was hard to find, so we had to call. GPS couldn't find the street. It is 6 km from Bagni di Lucca, and in the lulle town, Lugliano, where the beautiful house is located, there is neither a grocery store nor a eatery. Very nice host. It takes about an hour to drive there from the airport in Pisa.

The place is truly a rustic paradise! It’s placed in what seems like the crater of an old volcano, high up in the clouds at above 900m so you’re in something as peaceful as highest up on a mountain, but still protective ”walls” of stone all around! Lots of wildlife around (in our case we also got a bit of an ant invasion in one of the barhrooms) and the only thing to keep in mind is that the distance will be slightly longer than Google Maps will tell you since you likely don’t want to drive like a race car up and down the mountain side. Both kids and grown ups completely loved the place!

We (7 girlfriends) enjoyed the stay in the villa very much! The house, especially the front yard and pool, are wonderful. Maria is great! She has sent us a lot of tips about the area (also the necessary things, such as shopping). In addition, we were surprised with a very fine cake and if you needed anything, there was a very quick response. The villa is well equipped and the surroundings beautiful. There is plenty of parking. Only the potholes and the access to the villa are a bit challenging - but doable!

We stayed in this beautiful Tuscan villa, completely in authentic Italian style. The house is in a brilliant location with views over Montecatini – in the evening a sea of lights! Due to delays on the way, we didn't arrive until 11 p.m., but that was no problem for Cristina. She kindly waited for us and took plenty of time to show us everything. Cristina is an excellent host and communication went smoothly and pleasantly in English. The villa is very private, with a large enclosed property and a fence all around. Parking is available on site. A little tip for future guests: Don't blindly follow your route planner. It will send you via a narrow winding path that you can hardly cross with one car. Preferably take the route through the other side. The swimming pool is tastefully lit in the evening and the surroundings offer plenty of beautiful trips to towns such as Lucca, Florence, Pistoia and Siena. We'd love to come back!
