We had a fabulous week here! Expectations were high and they were most definitely exceeded. Sian the host was always quick to respond with any query we had before and during our stay and was intent on making sure we had the best time possible. Local recommendations were great and the house itself is just perfect for a stay with young families which we were or for a group of friends. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending anyone to come and stay here! Thank you - we loved it!

A beautiful beach house in Bakoven, just a short walk down the road to the beach in a safe neighborhood. Very spacious with everything we needed. Great barbecue! Bootlegger Café is right next door. The cleaning lady is an absolute gem. Would definitely book again!

This place is amazing! Genevieve gave us clear instructions on how to find the house. She met us there to show us through and to make sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need - from pots and pans, salt & pepper, oil etc. A bag of wood was supplied for our stay and Genevieve was able to help with more when we needed. The house has fantastic views of the mountains and only a short walk to the penguins and beach. Small details throughout house shows that Genevieve was made to entertain and wants her guests to feel relaxed and have a good time. Games cupboard, plenty of books, perfume basket in the bathroom, candles in every room just to name a few. Thank you for an amazing 9 night stay. We will definitely be back. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing stay while feeling at home.

Tim's place in Betty's Bay is in a great location close to Bass Lake (walkable) and a short drive to the beach. It has beautiful sea views and plenty of space. The kitchen and lounge is open plan and the kitchen is large and very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linen. This is an amazing spot with plenty of accommodation and three bathrooms, perfect for a large group.

We spent 19 nights at Lake Haven. Maisie was an excellent, helpful and responsive host. The home is really fabulous - tastefully decorated, well appointed, and with the most exquisite view imaginable. The property is fully fenced and secure for even the smallest furbabies. We had the best time kayaking, swimming, watching the birdlife on and around the lake, and going for long walks around the beautiful and safe estate. It is centrally located to shops and excellent restaurants. One of the best Airbnb properties I have stayed in. I cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning!

What a wonderful 10/10 experience this has been! Arrived here on new years, spent an entire month here and ended up booking an extra week. I don't want to leave this place at all. If you are looking for an AirBnB gem, this is it. Besides the fact that this house looks like something straight out of Architectural Digest, it also feels equally amazing to be here. Ronell & Ghe made me feel like I was staying at the house of my long lost friends. From taking me on hikes, drinks, and having braai's together - they elevated my SA experience completely in the best way possible. I felt super safe as a solo female traveler, and felt extra loved by Sila&Bo, the cutest dogs who made this stay even more special. Ronell & Ghe really made me feel right at home. This was my first time in SA all and I gained two new south african friends, and hopefully one day: neighbours! Baaie dankie for one of the best experiences I could have dreamed of. I will be back <3

We had a great stay at Jay & Phil’s. Very conveniently located. Jay & Phil are wonderful hosts. I’d most definitely recommend the stay!
