A big thank you to Claudette and Christian for their warm welcome, their little touches and their advice. The cottage is a real haven of peace, very clean and with all the necessities. Numerous activities are available to entertain children and adults alike in the large wooded garden. Not to mention the relaxing moments in the hot tub. Beautiful tours to do around. Very nice stay to recommend!

We stayed with our kids and grandchildren, 6 people in all, and had room to spare at these adjoining gites. What a fabulous time we had! Sonia and Mark are the most lovely hosts ever. They live in a separate house on the property and were always there to help us but were never intrusive. Everything was impeccably clean and the property was every bit as inviting as the photos. The swimming pool was nice and warm; the kitchen was incredibly well stocked with pots, pans, serving pieces, as well as having great appliances. The location was fabulous— 5 minutes away from the beautiful little medieval town of Monpazier, 15-20 minutes away from countless other medieval towns, 45 minutes from the cave paintings at Font-de-Gaume, 45 minutes from Sarlat, 40 minutes from many castles/chateaux including Beynac, Castelnaud, and Milandes, where performer/spy for the Resistance Josephine Baker lived. I can’t imagine a better vacation!

We stayed in Celine's apartment during Christmas and New Year's Eve. The apartment met the description on Airbnb and also our expectations. The sights of the Dordogne are easy to drive from Monpazier. You can also walk nicely in the area of Monpazier. We were somewhat surprised at paying a €40 cleaning fee to be paid to Celine on the spot. These fees were apparently included in the listing.
