Central Canterbury Cottage With Rolltop Bath

AbigailRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a beautiful little home nestled into the streets of Canterbury. We walked into town each evening, had fish and chips from the shop down the road one night and I loved hearing the church bells in the morning. Sainsbury's is just down the road so we grabbed some bits and made packed lunches using the hob. Everything we need to cook with was there. Very well kept, would highly recommend. Even though there was not a private parking area, parking wasn't an issue. After 4 it's free, so, after spending the day exploring Kent we found a space on the street adjacent with no issues. LOVE THIS PLACE.

Tudor Cottage, c.1550! Canterbury Old Town. Cute!

JoleneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had the BEST TIME at Alizja's home.😊 It was centrally located in town - everything was walkable. This was our first trip to the UK and she had fantastic recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit. The house was pristine! Comfy beds and linens, a fully stocked kitchen, and a quaint little courtyard. And we thought having a skeleton key to lock the doors was so cool! 😄 Thanks so much for having us, Alizja! We hope to visit again! ❤️

This is the second time I have stayed in Richard’s apartment (see my review exactly a year ago). That should say everything. I found it again very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It is centrally located to historical Canterbury. On both occasions I stayed over the weekend and the weather was fine. I note the mention of the beer garden over the way. Richard’s description of this is accurate. The building containing the apartment is on a quiet small street, with no vehicles passing. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment as an ideal place to stay in Canterbury.

Our stay at Peter’s place was simply perfect. You have an entire flat, felt like it was our home. Everything was as described. The place was spotless and very tidy. And the location is absolutely perfect for exploring Canterbury. Everything just seems minutes away. As for the neighborhood, very safe and quiet. And Peter is super fast in responding! We really appreciate that. And Peter is so friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay again when I am in Canterbury. Thanks Peter.

Tara was a wonderful host. The place was cleaned a couple of times during our stay and was always immaculate. She also bought us some breakfast bits in which was so kind. Tara has been amazing with communication, so speedy, checking we got in ok and answering questions. The flat is perfect for what we needed and we are so grateful.

Exceptional city centre period cottage

AlineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great stay in the house. Perfect for discovering Canterbury and surroundings. Note that there is parking to pay in addition as specified in the listing because the accommodation is central, on a street a few steps from the city center. Note that the 2 bedrooms as well as the bathroom with toilet are upstairs with a very steep staircase that is suitable for able-bodied people. On the ground floor, a very well-equipped kitchen overlooking a pleasant garden with a small table and 2 chairs, and a very pleasant separate living room. Everything is done and equipped for a pleasant stay: convenient with storage in the accommodation and a kitchen with everything you need to feel good, a bathroom with practical details to be well there. The cottage is old and makes you feel in the charm of Canterbury. A great stay for us, a great first experience for our discovery of England as a family with our 13-year-old daughter.

Cosy one bed flat with parking

Assi Rating, 5 stars6 days ago
David’s place was perfect place to stay for my trip - nice, easy walkable distance from city centre. There are neighbours each side of the flat, but flat was still very quiet considering. Personally I love quietness, so that was very positive to me. There are useful instructions around the house to respect the place and most importantly how to have nice, hot bath. Bathtub was nice and large! I loved the mattress, ideal for a side sleeper. The duvet covers felt high quality - exactly what you would like to have on your stay away. David thought of it all. I felt like at home. Thank you ever so much!

We had a fantastic stay in Canterbury at the Hay Loft. The house was so cosy and we felt right at home straight away. The location is so near to the centre - only a ten minute walk from the cathedral. There is parking only a 2 minute walk away that is reasonable priced. We loved our stay and can’t wait to stay again!
