Enjoy a rustic all wood home overlooking a gentleman's fruit orchard with a spacious front yard and outdoor play area for young children. Appreciate the commodious carport, quiet privacy with no nearby traffic, yet five minute access to restaurants and shopping.
“First off, David and Cathy are just incredible hosts. As soon as David noticed we had two little girls, he went to work assembling the slide and canopy to the playground set that is outdoors. Not necessary, but our girls absolutely loved their time on the set. The hosts have big hearts! The property itself is gorgeous filled with fruit trees, rocking chairs on the balcony overlooking their space, a fire pit to enjoy--very, very peaceful. Inside is beautiful. Rustic, well-decorated. You feel at home as soon as you walk in. And you can't beat the location. An hour and half from Boston, not even half an hour from Concord or Laconia. Will we be back? 100% yes. :) This will be our go-to spot when wanting to get away in New England. No need to look anywhere else.”
Quaint family estate set on 200 acres with rustic farm house charm! Two large barns and a view of our private family pond set back in the woods beyond the house. Surrounded by forest and field, blooming flower gardens, rural landscaped setting in a secluded location at the end of a short dirt road in small town Canterbury, NH. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city, yet remain one hour from Boston, the White Mountains and Seacoast!
“If you want a safe and peaceful place to stay Aurora has a beautiful guest suite. They offer many amenities, and my husband and I even learned how much we loved Sugar in the Raw here! She is such a lovely person to speak with, and we are forever grateful for a lovely stay.”
Our guest cottage comes with use of two kayak's, one canoe, two stand up paddle boards and an outside fire place to roast s'mores. (Please do not use fireplace until dusk). Full kitchen (no freezer), outside barbecue, clean lake with nice swimming area. Fully equipped, tv/dvd (no cable). We supply towels and linens.
“We absolutely loved the cabin, it was very charming. The neighbors were all very friendly and polite. Fishing was great, and we loved having use of the kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards. It was even warm enough to do some swimming! Only things we noticed that we needed was having to buy ice daily at the store because there is no freezer (small ice box in the fridge) and rope would have been helpful so we could tie the pool floats to the dock. Otherwise, a perfect spot!”
