João was an incredible host. Friendly, proactive giving us lots of recommendations and tips on local spots and where to go. The place is very cozy, and a truly Portuguese “Aldeia”. It is quite isolated, so for those that enjoy peace and being deep in nature, this is the place. If you are looking for some time away from the busy city life, this is the place. Very nice place! Cozy rustic house with vintage furniture. It's like visiting my grandmother's place! Very clean. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen. Friendly and helpful host. Quickly responded to all our requests. We are very happy with the time we spent in this house. The only downside is the rooster neighborhood. He started screaming at four o'clock in the morning.
