Our stay was fantastic. Jane was really responsive to my questions, and put out an extra foldout bed for us to suit our needs. She sent lots of really useful information, and check-in was extremely easy. The house is in the perfect location - private, with loads of character, and ideally located within easy walking distance of all that the city centre of York has to offer. (We even did a self-guided treasure hunt around the city that happened to start and finish right next to the accommodation!). There was plenty of room for the seven of us in our group, and we were all so impressed with the attention to detail, from the book of useful "Knowledge" about the area, to the thoughtful goodies that were left for us in the kitchen. I couldn't fault it. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we couldn't have wished for better!

Amazing place, exactly what was needed for a relaxing stay. Amazing amenities, shop and restaurant nearby, comes with everything you need. Would recommend this place to anyone that’s thinking about it, Sita was very helpful and an amazing host. Would return in a heart beat! Xx

Absolutely brilliant weekend with the wife, just what we wanted, a quiet peaceful getaway, secluded with privecy, very clean and comfortable, the hot tub was lovely and clean, all the essentials needed if wanting to cook etc, we opted for a local takeaway one night, menus in the cabin or use just eat etc, then hit Leeds the next day, I would highly recommend to anyone, and I would stay again, if you like glamping, this for me is 10 times better, no other pods near you, pure bliss with lovely surrounding views, especially on a night, the cabin has lights around the top, the hot tub has lights, and all you can hear are the birds, all in all it was a fantastic experience and Lee was always at hand for anything we needed, and answered any questions swiftly, I'd recommend to anyone without a second thought and plan to return again in the future.

Had a lovely time staying here, Suzanne was a really helpful host and went the extra mile to help us settle in. The house was really well presented and had all we needed for a short family stay. We’d definitely look to stay here again the next time we’re in York!

A really great place to stay whilst doing activities around the Peaks! Parking more limited but we always managed a space with the permit being very handy. Lots of shared space which was great for socialising, D&D, and playing games and having tea together. Plenty of space in the bedrooms too and bathrooms all in a good condition. Ideal location right in the centre of Bakewell for easy access to restaurants, cafes and pubs. Host was always very good at communicating and friendly, offering early check in and late check out which was very kind! Would highly recommend if looking for a Peak District base with friends or family.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Potting Shed, it has a lovely homely feel & the area is very peaceful. The hosts James & Rachel were very kind, very accommodating & brilliant with communication, nothing was a problem. The accommodation is just beautiful, the attention to detail is fantastic & everywhere is amazingly clean. The open plan living area is so beautiful, especially when the morning light shines in through the bi-fold doors. The hot tub was definitely a highlight for us to relax in, enjoy the birdsong & watch the sunset in an evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

My entire family absolutely loved this place! The house is spacious & modern. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, and there was plenty of closet space in each bedroom, making it perfect for a comfortable stay. The living area was a highlight, with incredibly cozy couches and a huge TV that made relaxing even better. Having a bathroom on each floor was a fantastic convenience- especially for my mom & toddler. Dani was a wonderful host—warm, courteous, and incredibly thoughtful. She even stocked the fridge with milk and bread, which was such a kind and hospitable gesture. Overall, I highly recommend this place! The photos don’t do it justice—it’s even better in person! If ever I am in Leeds again, I will be staying here.

We had a lovely stay in our cabin! Had a dip in the hot tub the morning that we left and it was a great way to start the day! the hosts are so friendly and have beautiful dogs who came to visit! The amenities were great and it was truly like a home away from home, we did not want to leave. The cabin is closer to other ones than we expected, but it does feel very private and peaceful nonetheless. Cooking outside on the gas BBQ was lovely, there’s even a spot for a frying pan!! We would love to stay again and try a different cabin! Thank you for a lovely few days xx

Such a romantic and peaceful getaway. It was a little date weekend for me and it was our first time away together. We had such a lovely time, it was cosy and private which is exactly what we wanted. We were surrounded by beautiful views and had the company of 3 cute little goats and 3 gorgeous highland cows. The local town was a short drive away so could go for walks, get food and grab any little bits we needed. Everything was more or less provided. Even got hot water bottles, socks and hand warmers which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was different to anything I’ve seen before but it worked really well. Loved the outdoor kitchen area, we made use of the BBQ. It’s perfect for 2 people. Would definitely come back

If you’re staying in Pocklington then this house is fantastic. Huge! Clean! Warm and cosy. All the mod cons. Really really exceeded our expectations. It’s just a couple of minutes walk from Market Place. Only comment is that maybe there should be fans in all the bathrooms…otherwise, it’s like Dr. Who’s Tardis…way bigger than you think. Loved it.
