Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cameron County

Great location. Huge backyard for dogs to run around. Loved having access to garage for parking to help keep car cooler. We didn't have time to use but there were a good assortment of board and card games. Quiet neighborhood.

Small but cozy. It worked well for me. If you are over 6 foot tall you will need to duck in the shower.

If you are a birdwatcher this place is so great. We loved our stay in this comfortable lived in farm house. If you are looking for ultra modern brand new sterile facilities this isn't your place - it's someone's home, but that adds to the charm. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The front porch is the best. The great horned owl was hooting much of the night and the harris's hawks were noisy in the morning. We saw a giant indigo snake too, beautiful. It was a struggle to leave to go to our destinations each day, we could have stayed on the porch longer! THis place feels like you're at a family farmhouse far into the country but it's less than 10 minutes into the heart of Harlingen. Would recommend for a great respite in the city.

We enjoyed our stay at Amanda's place. Clean and comfortable & a delight for birders. Interesting viewing even from the picture window. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate for the beach but we found really interesting things to do. Spacex & the launch we happened to see was the best. Sea turtles, a great zoo in Brownsville, history museums and the Iwo Jima memorial were favorites. Wonderful restaurants! Amanda was very responsive and helpful. A very enjoyable vacation!

Loved the place! It was on the first floor which was great for my mom who has trouble climbing stairs. Very clean with pretty decor that made it feel like home. Only downside was how tiny the pool is, however it was expected because the pictures from listing are accurate so I wasn’t disappointed. Close to beach access and beds were comfy!

Chris was an awesome host and the condominium loft matched the description and the information provided for the entrance was clear and precise . Chris was very responsive. Additionally, l realized l left a few clothes behind in dryer. I communicated with Chris and he mailed clothes and l refunded him the money through Cash App.

Me and my husband absolutely loved this spot , it was beautiful and easy access to beach!! I most definitely would recommend!

Gloria was a very friendly and gracious host. The location was very clean and easy to find. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming down to brownsville. It’s quiet with high speed internet overlooking a golf range.

I have thoroughly enjoyed a 3-month stay! First, the unit is very nicely appointed and beautifully furnished, as advertised. Second, Elina is the ultimate superhost! She responds immediately with anything that might arise and is extremely accommodating, not to mention is a gracious concierge. Third, the location was convenient to all services, importantly, Ultimo Taco around the corner!

We highly recommend this place. The host was terrific and the house was stunning. Best kept secret is the private lake overflowing with beautiful birds. We had a terrific time and cannot wait to return again in the future.

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! The house was very neat and clean, and the location was quiet and private. We loved being able to use the community pool, and the price was very good for the amount of space. Checkin and checkout were also very easy. We will definitely be staying here again whenever we travel to the island with our family!
