Family-friendly vacation rentals in Camborne

A beautiful glamping experience that exceeded our expectations. We had our three small children with us that absolutely loved it! They loved seeing the chilckens and ducks on site. Buttercup accommodation had everything we needed and we will definitely recommend it to others.

What an amazing place, amazing hosts and an amazing time we had. Jeremy and Lucy were wonderful. I cannot recommend highly enough. This holiday was a last holiday for Dad and it was touch and go whether we would make it. Jeremy helped so much and even moved a bedroom downstairs for Dad. When we arrived with 3 dogs in the party, Lucy had a stake in the ground and a long horse lead sorted in a matter of minutes. The house is wonderful. Lots of space for the 3 family groups, beds really comfy and having a big main bathroom and 2 ensuites was so helpful. We spent a lot of time at the property and the views were out of this world. Evenings were spent in the hot tub and chilling out on the veranda with a glass of wine and a fire. Our son and girlfriend even has their own space in the shepherd's hut. Far enough away for privacy, but close enough to share meals. Jeremy had even laid a new floor. Thank you thank you thank you. We will be back!

One night is not enough!! The hot tub was the highlight of this place as it felt super relaxing and calming after our super long drive to cornwall. We visited cornwall’s beaches and Shaun’s place was so comfortable and cozy that we only wish we could stay for a bit longer or at least be able to check-in earlier for a more relaxing experience. The bathroom was squeaky clean, hygienic and really cute and made the girls feel comfortable as home. The cottage had almost all amenities needed for the stay. It was one of the most affordable places in Cornwall and would definitely return!

This was our family’s second stay at what is our favourite spot at Retallack. The lodge, being right on the water, feels peaceful and secluded, but is only a few minutes’ walk to the pool, restaurant and other amenities. Mel is a great host, always replying quickly, and the lodge has everything we needed for our stay. We’d definitely come back again.

We had such a wonderful time at Mill Pool Lodge despite some grey and wet weather. The beds were comfortable, the house is simply furnished and had what we needed. Jenni had sweetly made a delicious home made cream tea for our arrival. The gardens are absolutely stunning, tones of space to explore, all with different characters, it was wonderful walking round and spending time outside there, the birdsong was incredible and the Merlin bird ID app identified a tone of species. We enjoyed the hot tub too, and had a very relaxing time. We used the place as a base to explore our favourite North Cornwall beaches and towns. They also kindly lent us body boards as we forgot to bring ours! Would absolutely come back, what an incredible and special place, thank you for sharing it with us!!

Our second time staying here and no complaints on the property itself , amazing house, comfortable beds! David is lovely and we were left a bottle of Prosecco which was greatly appreciated! Hot tub is so worth the extra Our only issue was the shared road leading in to the property, It’s very very damaged with pot holes.

A lovely quiet location. The cottage met all our needs and was equipped well, with thoughtful touches of things that may be needed on arrival for a hot drink and in the bathroom with things you may have forgot to pack.

Beautiful property with a lovely seaview. It has a fully functioning kitchen with all the utensils you could need and a very comfortable sitting area. The property was spotless and very tastfully decorated. Melanie was informative and sent us lots of suggestions. It was very easy to check in. When we arrived there were essentials in the kitchen which was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to staying there again.

We’ve just returned home from a peaceful long weekend here. The surroundings were beautiful and the Airbnb was private and secluded, yet close to Falmouth and other areas of interest. We loved meeting Patrick the horse, the sheep and the geese and chickens and watching the bunnies in the gardens. Our dog was very happy with the nearby walks and beaches and we have all agreed that it was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had! Karen was a perfect host, brilliant communication and lovely chats in the garden. We’d recommend this place to anyone!

Great value for a lovely quiet retreat for the weekend, easy to get around the North Cornish coast from the location. Accomodation was spotless and very comfortable, would happily stay again as it offered all we need.

Nice quiet and pretty village with great views. The cottage was clean and comfortable, just what we were after for a short family break.

The flat is amazing and in an ideal location. It has its own car parking space which is in the barriered car park on the other side of the harbour which we could clearly see from the lounge and bedroom windows. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for clothes etc. We will definitely stay again and we have already recommended the flat to our daughter and her husband. Elizabeth was very responsive to our questions and was very happy to help us.

This house is in simply the best location for the town and beach. The house is home for home and the kitchen has every utensil you need and the bathroom is great. The courtyard is a lovely intro in the afternoon too. My only slight reservation: we are a family of 5 and I think the house is more suited to a family of four. The living areas and kitchen/diner feel smaller than the photos look.

As a family of 8 & 3 generations celebrating Christmas & a special birthday, the farmhouse was simply magical. Will & Danni went above all our expectations with Christmas trees & selection boxes for the kids. The farm looked so beautiful with all the fairy lights & we found everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner for 12! Thank you so much for a simply amazing stay which allowed us to celebrate our first Christmas in six years as a family. We couldn’t recommend you highly enough & hope to be back in the future. Great accommodation, decor even better in person! A nice walking distance to town, Newquay zoo and beaches so found it to be the perfect location. Highly recommend :)

Very enjoyable stay at Roy’s loft. Ideal location with St Ives centre less than 10 minutes down the hill yet away from the crazy St Ives holiday traffic. Roy is a very friendly and helpful host.

Chris gave us all the information we needed to find the villa and where all the utilities were, the villa was very well presented, in particular the power shower was amazing after a days walking or sitting on the beach Could not fault it Rob

Matt and Chloe were really great hosts. Really warm welcome, there was a hamper waiting for us with some essentials and treats, after a long drive that was very appreciated. Communication was great, always quick to respond. Had some minor issues, as all trips do, but Matt was on hand to try and resolve them right away. Just a note for people booking that the washer/dryer are communal and outside the cottage. Great location to travel around Cornwall

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

The lodge was in a beautiful setting, perfect for families, a lovely safe environment. The accommodation itself was extremely spacious and spotlessly clean, the bathrooms were lovely, with towels and toiletries included. Upstairs was particularly spacious with amazing views. The hosts kindly provided us with initial provisions, like tea and coffee. It’s a great base to explore the surrounding area, and a lovely space to return to. I would definitely recommend this beautiful holiday home, and would return with my family.

We stayed for a week from 24th May and it was exactly what we hoped it would be. Shelley was a lovely host; making her cottage a home away from home. It was spotlessly clean, welcoming and cosy. The location was amazing with the town and local beaches all within a 10 minute drive. We would absolutely return; hopefully in the near future. Our stay with Stephen was great! Very clean and private space cabin. With a lovely outside area where we sat with some friends. Very quiet and peaceful. Stephen was great and really flexible RE: check-in timings and always had a very quick response to any queries I had before our stay. Would highly recommend.

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!
