Excellent hostel, great location . The room has everything necessary for your stay and very clean. Yordanka and Pedro are very friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home and offer an exquisite breakfast.

We could not send you our reviews before. Sorry about the delay. Another very beautiful, comfortable, quiet and very clean casa. Hearty lunches. Our bikes are safe. We are 6 km from the city center; we go by bike. It's easy to find safe parking for bikes that allow us to experience the beauties and history of this UNESCO-listed city. We recommend this casa.

Very decent stay. I’d recommend guests to try Yoli’s dinner service. She provides different selections and cooks so well that I am sure any restaurant will want to have her as the chef, if she’s not running the rental business. The room is much bigger than it looks from the photo, which includes a fridge, a spacious closet, and an ensuite attached bathroom. The casa is a “gun-shot” style. You walk in from the front door, pass the living room, which has a desk/table for meal/work, and the bedroom is right next to it. The kitchen is at the end. Your space is literally no-disturb. People will not walk towards your end, which means that you have good privacy. The place is frequently mopped. You will see Yoli doing a lot of cleanings to keep things neat. The house is also well equipped with modern AC, washer, and dryer. Yoli is communicative. You can talk to her if there are any inquiries or questions. The host family (Yoli, her mother, and her son) are good people of class and culture.

After almost a month traveling around Cuba, René and Josefina's house was by far the best accommodation we had on the whole trip. Friendly, friendly; with attention to 10 in addition to a predisposition to help us off the beaten path. People like them make it special to choose these options when staying. The breakfast was exquisite, the house looked impeccable, the recommendations they made us took us to some of the best places we've ever been to on this trip. The terrace they have us tricked us and made us forget for several hours that we had a city to meet. The talks with René went from to you and very interesting, and they helped us with all the questions we had about continuing the trip. I repeat: the best thing about the trip was these two great people we met. Thank you so much for everything, at heart.

We stayed 3 nights at Hostal Lavastida and after 1 month traveling all over Cuba we can say it is the best house we have ever been to. Marcia and her husband have treated us wonderfully, attentive, available and very nice. The best hosts. The house is perfect, with all the comforts and the terrace is great!! Very grateful and we recommend it 100%.
