Farmstay vacation rentals in Calvados

The location is perfect and the off street parking a real plus. We visited the Normandy Beaches and it worked out really well. As other have reported, the kitchen is bare bones but we were ready. The Internet was giving trouble during our visit. The horses paying a daily visit and the beautiful pasture behind the place is special. Be sure to get s bag of carrots! Weather permitting, the back patio is a really feature.

We found the place beautiful. A typical Normandy house, well located, with a large play area for grandchildren. The interior was well furnished to accommodate our large family (12 people). We had a great time staying at Carly's. From the house, we were about 1 hour from Caen and the various historical and cultural sites that sparked our interest in the region.

Lovely and helpful hostess and the little house with a beautiful garden. As for a king, until there are no guests in the adjacent half. Perfect for kids, also some toys and goal for football. The only thing I missed was how little (spices, oil) in the kitchen and a little better mattress in the bed in the bedroom. Our host helped us with everything we needed.

We had a pleasant stay! Conveniently located to visit the main landing sites, a perfect gîte for families and quiet in the countryside, we highly recommend it!

We were completely satisfied with this beautiful place. The atmosphere at this place is magnificent. You can feel the love on every corner, the house, the yard and the garden. The house is well equipped and well suited for up to three families with young children. The surroundings are great for cozy bike rides and excursions to the beach. We were also lucky enough to enjoy the best weather. For us, this place is one of the most beautiful we've found here so far. 💛

pleasant weekend in Véronique's cottage. The terraces on both sides are super nice as well as access to the jaccuzi. very good weekend with friends or family, I recommend it.

The cottage is really great. With everything you need, very clean, Évelyne and Jean-Paul are very welcoming hosts, you can see that they love those who do. communicating with them is lovely, Thanks again for this lovely stay, and the gifts are really nice (eggs, jam) excellent. Also, when we left, they gave us a bottle of cider when they really didn't have to. Full of special touches, awaiting you in the cottage. We recommend it 200% and I think we'll go back. Anastasia’s place was awesome. Very cool home in the countryside. Everything as described. Anastasia is an authentic and wonderful host. Staying at her home made my experience for D-Day 80 so easy.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, bucolic cabin in Normandy. The space was charming and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It's also perfectly located—just a 20-minute drive to the D-Day beaches, which made exploring the area very easy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a historic and scenic region!

We loved this beautiful house! Stunning french countryside, setting, quiet, and peaceful. Valerie and Pierre John were so kind and helpful. The highland cows were a delightful bonus. :-) Highly recommend!

Odile is a very kind, caring, and attentive host, and she made it special by offering homemade and local produce (e.g., apple cidre) from the farm. Comfortable accommodation and a beautiful setting.

Fabienne's apartment was absolutely perfect – clean and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Fabienne is an extremely warm and courteous host who was always available for questions or concerns. The location of the accommodation was ideal for exploring the surrounding area and we felt completely comfortable. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend this apartment!

Lovely stay in the little gite. The gite is small but has everything you need! Nick and Lesley are wonderful hosts who love having people over. They really want you to have a nice time. She gave us helpful tips about things in the area. The bakery in Pont-d'Ouilly is a must! The area is stunning, beautiful hikes possible, and the gite is located on a very quiet street.

There were 12 of us, and the place was great! Very nice welcome from Ludo, very friendly and he made himself available when we needed (thank you again!). The accommodation is great for large groups of people with everything you need to have fun indoors during fickle weather, but also outdoors when the weather is nice. The outdoor grounds are very large with adorable animals. The kitchen is very well-equipped, each room was very good with great bathroom too. Nothing to say, highly recommend:)
