House vacation rentals in Caledonia County

We were excited to find Nancy’s place last minute on a very busy holiday weekend. It is very close to Burke mountain for skiing and very close to the cute little town of East Burke. The house has everything for a comfortable stay away and enough space for us all to relax after skiing. We definitely recommend this cozy home!

Cozy ski in ski out condo right at the lower mountain lift. Lisa’s place was clean, easy to find and provided excellent access to the great skiing that Burke Mountain has to offer. Bonus feature was being able to watch the snow-cats work on the mountain trails at night. 10/10 would recommend.

We had such a fantastic weekend! The condo has everything you need. It’s beautifully decorated and felt so comfortable from the second we arrived. The location couldn’t have been any better.

Loved staying here! Really cool New England home, felt very lived in and cozy :) appreciated the toys and games throughout the home for the kiddos. Also the host, Heather is super responsive and kind. Would love to come back in the future

The house was cozy, spacious and relaxing. Loved the modern and clean design. The location was amazing! It was remote, quiet and with beautiful mountain views. We picked this house for a little family getaway, and everyone enjoyed the property and its surroundings. The kiddos were playing in the snow in the backyard while adults enjoy themselves in a hot tub. We had an amazing time! Overall, I would highly recommend this house

Even more beautiful than in the photos. We were a group of 10 (6 adults, 4 18 year olds). We hiked the trails around the property (very pretty) and did a couple of local hikes as well. Spent part of a day at the shops in Littleton. Kristin is a friendly, responsive and generous host. We had a glitch with our reservation—my error—and she worked to accommodate us and all worked out well. As others have suggested, there is plenty of space for sleeping even though there aren’t a lot of actual bedrooms. The privacy screens work well, and there is so much room that it was not an issue. Highly recommend!

Kathy's place was absolutely lovely. A perfect hiding spot on the water with all of the beautiful options at the Craftsbury Outdoor center. Can't wait to come back!

Katie’s place was a great spot for a fall trip with friends. The cabin is well-appointed (including extra blankets for being cozy as the weather was getting cold!), especially the kitchen and plenty of outside furniture for maximizing enjoyment of the surroundings. We ate most of our meals outside looking at the pond and did some wonderful stargazing from the deck! We loved having access to the kayaks, and the wheeled kayak carriers made it super easy even though you do have to walk a few minutes to the boat launch. The only down side was that the campground down the road got a little noisy some nights, but otherwise this was a great, peaceful, beautiful spot for us to get away. 10-15 minute drive from grocery stores and restaurants, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we wanted. Katie was super helpful and responsive as well. Would recommend!

This is always our happy place to stay in Vermont. Larry & Elizabeth always make you feel so comfortable there with a warm welcome and beautiful accommodations.

Manisha was a great host, took care of all out needs, very quick response and the place was very clean and cozy, to live with friends and family!! Highly recommended place for your stay!!

Nick’s place is awesome! My boyfriend & I stayed up there for a long weekend and it did not disappoint. We felt comfortable from the moment we walked in, the cabin is very clean and inviting. The property is as pictured, and even better in person. Nick was also very responsive and helpful with whatever we needed. We will definitely be coming back, thanks for a great stay!

My friends and I stayed here for one night after skiing at Jay Peak and it was the perfecting place to relax after a long day. Michael even went above and beyond and shipped an item my friend accidentally left behind the house. We are looking to return during the summer to enjoy the nearby mountain biking at Kingdom Trails.

Rustic-Chic set on a large private property with incredible views - what's more to love? Stayed in the wintertime, the house stayed warm, showers were hot, wood fireplaces going, a lovely outdoor hot tub, a great kitchen, two TV areas...it was a lovely time for the five of us. We cooked most every meal there, played games, hide and seek, and just relaxed. Hopped into the hot tub after a day of skiing at Burke Mountain (20 min away). While this house is very secluded, it's 15-20 minutes from a town with restaurants, coffee, and more. 30 minutes to Hill Farmstead Brewing, 45 Min to Littleton, VT. Perfect for families, friend groups...the only thing to be aware of is that the wide plank floors and old house offer very little noise privacy (you can hear everything!). Not recommended for elderly / limited mobility.

Stopped here on a ski trip coming from jay peak to Sunday river. This is the coziest airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I highly recommend staying here!

This home is an absolutely beautiful refuge from a busy world. If you like backcountry/nordic skiing, the location is fabulous, just minutes away from Highland Lodge trails which connect to Craftsbury trails. Or drive to Craftsbury Outdoor Center easily. Kitchen, bathroom, living room, sun room, and kitchen all are fabulous. Since we went just as a couple we stayed mostly on the main floor, but the first floor/basement has a few bedrooms with twin beds for kids or additional friends. Excellent light throughout the day, and quite private feeling. Good kitchen with nice, stove, fridge, and beautiful dishware. The propane for cooking happened to run out when we were there, but Nicole was super responsive and had a truck there right away. Overall great house, great location if you like to play outside, and great hosts.
