House vacation rentals in Calcata Vecchia

We had a great stay. Luca and Anna are great hosts, very friendly and responsive. The apartments are very private and overlooking a fenced olive trees field where the donkeys are roaming. There’s all you need for a comfortable stay and there’s plenty to do and visit in a short drive range. It’s a shame we were late in the season and the pool was already closed but we’ll try it the next time! Anna’s breakfast was also delicious!

Cosy apartment with real fire

Our group of six had an absolutely brilliant stay. Antonia was an incredibly responsive and friendly host and Adrian was also so helpful, coming every day to clean the pool and offer fresh eggs or any help we needed. The house itself is huge. It is charmingly rustic, very clean and has everything you would need. The views from the house and gardens are extraordinary. The pool is also very large and there are lots of activities (badminton, table tennis, visiting the donkeys and Ketchup the horse!) for in between sunbathing. It is a relatively remote location, but there is a supermarket close by and a wonderful cafe (Bar Ce) a few minutes drive away, which serves some of the best pasta and pizza I’ve had in a long time! Thank you Antonia and we look forward to hopefully returning in future.

our stay at Giorgia's place was wonderful and located in a very nice and quiet area, the host's directions allowed us to easily find the apartment. We had a beautiful and carefree weekend surrounded by nature and animals and we were impressed by the beautiful view from the apartment. The host was very friendly and helpful.

If I could give this home 10 stars I would! The house is beautiful, had everything we could ever need and was so comfortable for us with 5 adults and 2 kids! Paola was absolutely wonderful! She was so helpful with things to do around Castelnuovo di Porto, even made us reservations for dinner at a local pizzeria which was delicious! She also made us an AMAZING cake and fresh eggs from her chickens. We were blown away by the entire experience. Thank you Paola! If we are ever to be able to come back to Italy, we will absolutely be staying here!

Ideal place for those who want to spend a few days immersed in nature and tranquility. We were warmly welcomed and found no shortcomings in the home.

Chosen for a visit to Rome, it turned out to be great for staying in a quiet neighborhood. By car you can reach the Metro parking lots, we used the Tiburtina one and in a few minutes we arrived at the Colosseum. Tidy loft and for friendly people.

Alessandra's Place was quiet, clean and in a great location. would recommend it and would stay there again. the host was easy to reach when we had questions and had great suggestions to what was around the neighborhood.

An unforgettable stay in a cozy , beautiful home I had the pleasure of staying at this absolutely charming Airbnb, and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I felt right at home. The place is impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor space. Whether sipping coffee in the morning or relaxing in the evening, the patio area offered a peaceful retreat with beautiful views. It's clear that the host has put a lot of thought into every detail, from the decor to the amenities, making this a perfect getaway spot.

We loved our month at Villa Tucciano! Better than the pictures! Mario was the primo host and went over and above the call of duty to make us comfortable. He even helped us with luggage lost by the airline. His family was nearby and attended to our every need, and also went the extra mile. I cannot say thanks enough! We loved our stay and these wonderful people at their fabulous villa!

Andrea’s place is wonderful! The apartment is spacious, comfortable and really quiet. Lots of great amenities are added. It’s in a fantastic location, walkable to the historic sites of Rome. Andrea and staff are really helpful. Highest recommendations!! 5*

Paula's place was amazing, so light and airy and very clean. The amenities were really good and there was some little snacks left out which was greatly appreciated after flying and arriving quite late at night. The location was good, we used the train service mainly to get in to the centre of Rome which was around a 20 minute walk from the apartment so nice and convenient and the local supermarket is very close. There was a nice bakery a couple of minutes walk away from the apartment which was nice for a pastry and coffee. We always received a quick response to any of our questions which was lovely. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Dream Airbnb equipped with all the comforts that a guest could look for, a two-minute walk from the beach and the shopping center where there are minimarkets, restaurants, pastry shops, bars, etc. and a bus stop to go to Rome. Alessandro is a magnificent Super Host who assists you from the moment of booking and upon request organizes transport (very convenient when arriving at the airport and leaving) restaurants and the beach etc. at super discounted prices!!!! Bicycles are available at no extra cost so, fantastic for going to the beach and getting around Fregene. Thank you Alessandro for your splendid Airbnb and for all the help you provided to me and my son every day which for a foreign tourist is a huge convenience and money saver!!! The house is close to the village but nestled in the countryside, easily accessible from 2 points, both with a piece of dirt road, a shorter one, a longer one, both feasible going flat. The view of the surrounding hills and olive groves, the large pool, the outdoor areas, and the garden are really the highlight of the house, with many corners where you can sit to enjoy the shade or the sun. Even though there are some homes around, there is a lot of privacy and tranquility. The interior of the house is new, well-stocked, especially the kitchen; although the space is not large it is very well organized. Everything is fenced and there is ample space for parking inside. In short, I really recommend staying in this accommodation and in Sabina, an area that is still not very touristy but that offers a thousand natural, historical and gastronomic treasures to discover.

We chose the property based only on the listing description and pictures, which turned out to be very accurate. Really lovely house in beautiful surroundings, immersed in nature and quiet. The house was characterful, clean and large enough to easily accomodate our party of 7 in 4 separate bedrooms. The property was very well equipped, including Wi-Fi (even though mobile reception was good enough). Beautiful reception rooms on the ground floor, and books everywhere! The temperature during our stay was in the high twenties/low thirties but the house remained quite cool. Can't comment on what it would be like in winter. A car is required as the property is isolated and not served by public transport, but the nearest village is only 10 minutes away by car (very narrow roads). We loved the place and would recommend it for people visiting the area (provided you don't mind staying off the beaten path).

hi Guys, we came from the USA for the festival of my City. I brought friends and family with me. I lived about 15 minutes from the house in the past so for me it was like going home. I was looking for something unique, a place that told itself , a quiet place, a place with greenery and an area to share like a football game, etc. The spaces are used very well, all comfortable. Only 35min from FCO int, and about 25min to the same. There is a train about 10 minutes away that takes you to piazzale flaminio , so you don't stress for parking, etc. There is an excellent local fraschetta 6 minutes by car, others chosen about 10 minutes away, and a large supermarket 9 minutes away. Pay attention to the road to get there at night, 2/3min there are some rises due to the roots of the trees. Silvio is very nice, so nice but very reserved (the right, not intrusive) I recommend this magical place, to family friends and couples, who want to relax and have fun (with respect) see you soon

We had a wonderful few days at Sabina's place. The apartment was super equipped and had an excellent location. The communication with Sabina worked out very well and was totally friendly. She answered questions at all times and gave us recommendations for the area, open and helpful! We highly recommend the place and would gladly come back.

Matteo's house was great to stay in. We found everything we needed inside. The location is beautiful and the grounds are large with lots to do. We enjoyed the short walk to Sutri and exploring the town.

Paolo is a great host! He is very responsive and checked in with us regularly to make sure that we have hot water and sufficient heating, especially since it was the winter period. He paid attention to our requests and always acted quickly, e.g. when we asked to adjust the timings for the heating to be switched on. We are very thankful for Paolo’s flexibility and help 🙏 We felt comfortable and at home from the moment we arrived. It is a very peaceful and serene neighborhood, and the neighbours are friendly. There are also some cats in the area which is great as I love cats. Although it may be slightly far from city centre, the travel is not too bad. This place is close to Tivoli which we did a day trip to and we loved it there! There is a washing machine and drying racks for laundry which was a great help. The place is close to a LIDL and fruit stand, which is convenient for us to do our grocery shopping. There is everything we need here 👍🏼
