Excellent location once you find it. We had a little trouble but no worries, the views are stunning. The home is adequately equipped, clean and modern. The train runs close by and takes a while to get used to. The beach is great and there are plenty of chairs, umbrellas and toys. The location is central to nice towns, shopping and restaurants. If you can get to restaurant Vecchio Frantoio in Diamante it’s well worth it. Valerio and Laura are excellent hosts. You won’t be disappointed.

Siamo stati ospiti della proff Filomena nella primavera che sboccia. La sua casa è immersa in un piccolo parco recintato in cui convivono alti pioppi e alberi da frutto. Magnifiche giornate soleggiate ci hanno accompagnato alla scoperta del Parco e un caldo focherello ci accoglieva ristoratore al rientro, insieme alle leccornie che la nostra host ci aveva lasciato nel più puro spirito di ospitalità. L’atmosfera è magica! La nostra cagnolona Cora, ammaliata, ha apprezzato i croccantini lasciati per lei e si è goduta una grande libertà protetta! La casa è perfettamente attrezzata sia per soggiorni brevi che lunghi. Pulitissima e super accogliente. La posizione è invidiabile sotto ogni aspetto e la conoscenza del territorio di Filomena ci hanno fatto godere al massimo quel poco tempo che avevamo preventivato, ma abbiamo già prenotato per il viaggio di ritorno per un soggiorno più lungo. Filomena ci ha offerto davvero un mondo incantato e ricco di affettività! Grazie e a presto!

Een heerlijke plek waar je wel eerst door de rivierbedding (afhankelijk van regen) 10/15cm diep water van stevige kiezels moet durven rijden. Zo als beschreven in andere reviews, een boederij achtige omgeving van olijfbomen, citroënen, limoenen, bergamot, sinaasappels en avocado’s allen te plukken van de boom en de niet van vergeten lekkere aardbeien. Zwembad net open, net iets anders dan de standaard zwembaden, gemaakt van ruw tegels, behoorlijk groot en net niet rechthoekig. Antonio en zijn vrouw, zijn hard werkende vriendelijke mensen met goed hart voor hun gasten, mist er iets of is er iets kapot wordt direct actie ondernomen, sommige dingen kunnen vrijwel direct worden opgelost maar niet altijd, want werk aan de gewassen en kippen, eend en gans gaan gewoon door. Filippo’s home I Scilla is perfectly located atop the very middle of the town between the beach side and fishing village side- with the upper part just above you. It’s a bit of a climb, but this allows a gorgeous view of the sea and coastline below. You are also close to everything you could want to do. There is a lovely balcony outside the door, which that view, and is perfect for taking a break with coffee or a drink in the afternoon or evening. The bathroom is very nice and modern. Main bedroom is nice and big with a comfy bed. The kitchen is medium sized, with enough space to cook if you want to. The town was a real favorite for us. We spent 2 days at the beach at our favorite lido- so easy and relaxing. The fishing village has some real gems, including a natural wine bar with the friendliest owner and a wine/food bar next door to the natural one, that was absolutely delicious. There are many restaurants with dining areas literally on the water, which was very different and fun

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mirella’s home, and she is an incredible host! From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt completely at home. The house is inviting and cozy, with a spectacular outdoor terrace that makes it the perfect retreat. The views and location are amazing—just steps away from our favorite beach, and an easy drive to several other beautiful beaches. We truly felt like we discovered a hidden gem and can’t wait to return!

Wir haben zwei Wochen in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung verbracht. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Die Wohnung war sauber, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit allem was man benötigt. Grosse gemütliche Terrasse zum verweilen. Die Kommunikation mit Antonio war sehr gut. Egal welches Anliegen, er hat sofort geholfen. Der Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe mit einem wunderschönen Meer. Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung wärmstens. Wir haben uns wirklich zu Hause gefühlt. Nur zu empfehlen. Danke auch an die Eltern von Antonio, die uns sehr herzlich empfangen haben und jeder Zeit wenn nötig, geholfen haben.

Beautiful views of the bay and cliffs! Easy communication with Salvatore who welcomes you at the property and provides a full guide with places to eat and things to do in the area. The property is in a quiet area not far from everything you need. We choose to spend our 2 night stay taking the short walk to the private residential beach and enjoying the day/night views from every corner of the house! An unforgettable stay and would definitely go back! Thank you for sharing your lovely place Salvatore.

Antonio war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Wohnung ist klein aber vollkommen ausreichend dadurch, dass draußen viele Sitzplätze vorhanden sind. Basics wie Salz, Zucker, Öl, Essig und Gewürze waren vorhanden und eine kleine Überraschung im Kühlschrank! Von der Wohnung kann man zu den wunderschönen Stränden in Parghelia laufen (35 Minuten) oder in die Altstadt von Tropea (10 Minuten). Vorsicht ist aber geboten weil es kaum Gehsteige gibt, die Straßen sind eng und der Verkehr schnell!

The place was incredible, it was charming and cozy apartment in Tropea. Giulia was always helpful and proactive, I definitely will return to her apartment in the future.

Wir wurden mit einer lokalen Jause empfangen, was uns sehr gefreut hat, weil wir erst gegen 23 Uhr angereist sind und schon hungrig waren. Eine sehr schöne und aufmerksame Geste. Grundsätzlich ist die Lage und Unterkunft ein guter Ort um vom Alltag herunterzukommen, ein Buch zu lesen und zu entspannen.

Chiara’s quick response to our very last minute booking, when our other booking went awry, was very much appreciated! And what a great find…her place is in a beautiful part of Scilla, on the hilltop, filled with character and narrow streets. Great bar with food, coffee & drinks open all hours on the corner & playing jazz. Loads of options for eating excellent local cuisine, particularly seafood. A clean, spacious, comfortable apartment with a great shower (hot, strong). Shame the public ascensore is not working! We'll definitely return here in future.

Der Blick von der Terrasse ist einmalig: Felsen und Strand. Anfang Juni hatten wir den Strand auch noch ganz für uns allein. Es handelt sich um einen Privatstrand für die anliegenden Häuser. Die Wohnung haben wir geliebt. Mit viel Stil und geschmackvoll mit Möbeln und Deko eingerichtet und es wurde jeder Platz in der Wohnung gut genutzt. Fühlte sich an wie ein Strandhaus auf Hawaii. Es war alles da, was man brauchte zum Leben und kochen und waschen: man hatte das Gefühl, dort zu leben. Caterina war so nett und hat noch extra für uns Frühstück eingekauft und im Kühlschrank hinterlassen. Sie war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns viele lokale Tipps für Restaurants, Supermärkte, andere Strände etc. gegeben. Danke für diesen schönen Urlaub!

Wonderful! Top floor apartment with great balcony views across town & sea-easy walk to Old town, attractions, restaurant's & beaches…Highly recommend.

The building is right in the centre of lovely old Guardavalle - a very old hill town with a couple of restaurants and a bakery as well as a fruit shop and small grocery store etc. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully, simply decorated. Concetta has gone to a lot of effort to include small details that really make a difference, like a nice teapot, a toaster, spare bin bags and foil etc. She even had a delicious homemade cake waiting for us on our arrival and some home-grown fruits - a lovely welcome. We'd highly recommend the apartment as long as you're ok with some noise at it's on one of the main streets and is above a bar that had some lively customers who were at it until late each night. The area is stunning - full of citrus and olive groves, but a car is obviously a must. The roads leading up to some of the gorgeous hilltop towns like Stilo and Badolato are very windy and high but are generally well kept and have barricades that make it feel safer!

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our holiday! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was the perfect spot to relax and explore the area and salvatore was an excellent host.

Soggiorno perfetto! L’appartamento era impeccabile: pulito, ordinato e dotato di tutto il necessario. La posizione è ideale per chi vuole godersi il mare senza stress. Un grazie speciale a Monica, è stata eccezionale, attenta, cordiale, gentile e molto disponibile. Ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Esperienza davvero piacevole, consigliatissimo. Torneremo sicuramente.

Smooth check in, host always responded quickly, the apartment was very clean, exactly like on the photos, nice view from the balcony, lovely beach which had both enough sun and shadow spots throughout the day, and in the period of our stay there were hardly any other people, therefore very calm and chill beach experience, perfect for a relaxed stay. The apartment had convenient private parking and with the car it is very close to Pizzo centre. The wifi did not always work well for our devices in the apartment but everything else was great, we enjoyed our stay very much! would recommend and book it again!

We loved our stay in Tropea, beautiful town and the condo is perfectly located. Only advice, don’t bring a car in Tropea, the apartment is located in the city centre which is great to walk everywhere. The designated parking lot is outside the city centre and was very expensive. Would come back.

The apartment was in a beautiful, quiet area with a magnificent sunset that you can watch. Mary was wonderful and helpful!

This place is truly stunning-by far the most beautiful location I've ever stayed. The view was absolutely breathtaking, with every moment feeling like something out of a postcard. From sunrise to sunset, the scenery was unforgettable. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable, showing such kindness and attention to detail. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. I'm so grateful for the memories made here and can't wait to return someday.

Honestly a great stay. Everyone was so helpful with the check in instructions and the place was walking distance from the train station which was so nice. The apartment was clean and beautiful! Lots of hot water, a large living room and two great balconies. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer. Yes the beach ACTUALLY is a 10 minute walk from the place, unlike many adds saying it’s close. There’s no need for a taxi or anything. The beaches themselves were also beautiful. All in all a great place to stay. Lovely hosts. And a beautiful beach.

Super nette Unterkunft mit sehr gastfreundlichen Vermietern. Man spürt die italienische Herzlichkeit total! Der Blick zum Meer ist toll und die Küche ist gut eingerichtet. Alles war sauber und wirkte sehr neu.
