“Really really enjoyed the cabin. It was very cozy and cute, and the hosts even left snacks and brownie mix. The only thing is that there are a LOT of windows, which are great but at night the curtains are sheer so you can see right through the place. Would've loved to have a bit more privacy. All-in-all, a really great place though!”
A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Near snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas. Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails nearby. Also with a three night stay. we will drop you off or pick you up using your canoes or kayaks. Pictures are current.
“Pat and Paul's cabin is located on a picturesque dead-end country road. No photographs of the surroundings could ever do it justice, because how do you convey the fresh air, the vast open spaces, and the unbelievable kindness and hospitality of these hosts, who live just a few houses down the road? Pat and Paul are some of the kindest, most welcoming and genuine people you will ever meet in your life. That alone made the stay worth it for us. That would be true even if we didn't get to see and experience so much of what there is to do in their beautiful area. Which we did, of course. It wasn't all smooth sailing: in the middle of our stay the remains of tropical storm Cristobal knocked some poles and trees down, so for about 36 hours we had no power, no running water, and no internet. Our hosts went out of their way to help during this time, which included bringing us their own generator full of fuel and hooking it up. Thanks to them, a major inconvenience didn't even feel like a big deal. I won't even mention all of the other nice thoughtful touches throughout our stay. We loved our stay. So will you. Rent their cabin with confidence.”

“Ron and Beth’s place is as comfortable as it gets. Having the privilege of being their first Airbnb guest, I can definitely say that you will not be disappointed when you book a stay at their place. The setting is beautiful and very relaxing with the trails and lake and calming presence of the setting in general . If you want a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of life so that you can feel rejuvenated, then Ron and Beth’s place is definitely for you. Ron and Beth are there for you if any questions arise, are a very friendly couple and respond promptly when needed. I definitely enjoyed our stay there and will be looking forward too going back in the near future!”
