We loved our stay at this location. Our host was very friendly and gave wonderful recommendations for restaurants in the area. Off of the beaten path and was a great place to wind down from visiting the big cities. The area is beautiful. Wonderful jams / preserves were provided, we LOVED the home made plum one.

This is a beautifully appointed villa with unique and really special mid-century decor. The indoor and outdoor spaces are better than they look in the photos. You are perched on a hilltop in a nice residential area, but there is plenty of privacy. Our family of 6 had plenty of room in the villa. What is even more special about this place was the host. Andrea was incredibly gracious with his time and recommendations. If you are looking for an Emilia Romagna countryside stay, I would highly recommend. You need a car, but day trips to Modena, Bologna, and Parma are very do-able. We explored parmesan cheese making, balsamic vinegar production, and of course wine! The Ferarri Museum is also fairly close by and there is wonderful food everywhere!

Great place and an exceptional owner! The apartment is very well located, equipped with everything you need for a short and long stay. It is worth staying here for a longer time, feeling the atmosphere of this region and seeing many wonderful places, historic towns, exploring mountain trails and trying delicious cuisine. Margherita is very kind and helpful, you can quickly contact her in any matter you need. We will come back here again!

We had a lovely stay at Piero’s place. It has a feeling of a grandmother’s house, which makes it warm and welcoming. The check-in was very smooth. Gladiola welcomed us with her lovely pie. Very clean space, good heating, stably warm water, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed with extra duvets, which we indeed needed. I would have loved a couch for more comfort, but this is totally our own personal preference (it was not listed as an item of the house anyway). Thank you, we look forward to coming back again!

Even though we only stayed for a few days, we had a truly restorative time. Paolo was incredibly welcoming, always friendly, and helpful with all kinds of personal matters. He responded quickly and proactively found solutions to some of our changing circumstances. The flat was super cozy, clean, and provided everything we needed. Paolo even went above and beyond by offering us snacks, fresh spring water, and homemade honey. He also invited us to a community gathering with local environmental activists. The surroundings of the flat were stunning. We could start our hiking adventures right from the doorstep, with numerous trails leading in different directions. In the nearby mountain forests, I was able to gather fresh chestnuts, peppermint, and lemon balm for tea. I recommend coming with a car for shopping and if you’d like to visit restaurants, as they aren’t within immediate walking distance. I hope to return with more time in the future and would highly recommend staying here!

We had such a lovely stay in Bologna! Paolo’s place was perfect for what we needed and I would recommend to anyone. Central and easy to get to buses and the train station, combined with all the amenities in the apartment, it made our trip even more relaxing. We felt right at home- very clean and spacious apartment. Paolo went above and beyond to meet us and make us comfortable. Highly recommend!
