Simon's barn is beautiful and in a wonderful location with amazing views across the fields. My Sister and I had a very relaxing stay there. We especially enjoyed the wood burning stove, which was made up, ready for us to just light a match and enjoy the warmth. I would highly recommend staying here.

From the moment I booked, this was a fantastic experience. John and Vicky were amazing hosts, assisting with directions, suggesting local restaurants and clearing the drive of snow to enable easy parking and unloading. The cottage itself is absolutely charming, cleverly designed and attractively furnished to a high standard. We arrived in snow to find the heating was on full and John had lit the fire for us so the cottage was really warm. Really all we needed to bring were clothes and food as everything else imaginable had been provided, including plenty of logs and even a loaf of freshly baked bread ( still warm!). We enjoyed some lovely walks along the local lanes, even though it was too wet to use many of the footpaths, thanks to Storm Bert. There are two excellent pubs within walking distance. This is a stunning area for walking with masses of trails of all levels. we would definitely come back again to enjoy the scenery and John and Vicky’s exceptional hospitality.

Harewood cottage was absolutely stunning, super clean and comfortable. Loved the little touches, including the Christmas tree. No expense has been spared in this home and it’s clear to see Julia has great pride, and rightly so! It’s such a beautiful property, with stunning surroundings. Julia provided excellent instructions for checking in and even provided the wood for the incredible log burner. Thank you so an amazing stay Julia, we will be back.

We had a lovely time in Anita's cottage, the place is cozy, clean and well equipped. Due to the poor weather we ended up staying in the whole trip, but we still had lots of fun making pizzas and playing in the pool and snooker room. Anita was a thoughtful host, she kept us informed with all the check in details before the trip and we were welcomed with a delicious Victoria sponge cake on arrival. We will definitely be coming back, hopefully when the weather is better and we an explore more of the area :)

The loft is perfect for a snug get away with a partner. Me and my fiancé really enjoyed our stay. Loved the area perfect for long walks and lots of pubs around. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. As soon as we arrived we knew we wanted to come back! Such a beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings, really private and clean. It had been decorated for Christmas so beautifully which was so magical. It had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Really friendly and polite host via msgs. We look forward to coming back for longer and being able to explore the surroundings, with hopefully better weather. We were so cosy and warm at night, it really was a lovely cottage. We can't wait to come back as soon as we can! Thanks for a beautiful stay and happy memories.

Amazing cottage, Sisa and Gordon were a really wonderful couple. They gave us handmade bread and some things in the fridge. The house is exactly as described, everything tidy and very clean, Sisa gave us some directions and also told us several places of interest to go with children. The location was beautiful. Thor's cave is an amazing walk. The area is very quiet. 100% recommendable.

Fabulous place felt right at home there. Everything was lovely from comfy bed and lovely bed linen it felt luxurious. Kitchen had everything you needed. We brought all food with us as Kate had said we were about 20 mins from a supermarket. And didn’t want to go looking. Sure we would have walked to the pub had weather been better. So there’s an excuse to come back in the summer which we have already said we want to do to experience the summer nights out on the decking relaxing listening to the manifold river in manifold valley. Lovely conservatory and cosy on the nights. So thank you Kate for the 3 nights we had me & Alan and our dog Dylan so enjoyed. Till next time xx
