Vacation rentals with lake access in Buskerud

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Beautiful views to wake up to! I’m sure in the summer kayaking out on the water would have been awesome! Felt like a very safe neighborhood.

My family of four highly recommends staying in Beate and Jakob’s schoolhouse. We slept great, had everything we needed and felt right at home in the beautiful setting. We even got to borrow snow racers and go sledding! I hope we can be back to enjoy the beach in the summer.

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

Worth it for the stunning view. As others have said its like staying in your grandparents house but that is part of its charm. The drive is steep but not that bad. Per responded well to enquiries.

Rural house with large and cozy outdoor area. Short distances to public transport, large and nice beach, football fields and shops/Holmen shopping center. We had a great time at Therese's house, and would love to come again. Therese was very nice and welcoming and responded quickly to inquiries.

Had a warm welcome and stayed at beautiful cottage with history. It's homey and comfortable.

It was a great stay for halfway between Oslo and Bergen. Roomy and kitchen was well stocked with essentials.

We had a great time staying at the place. It is in a great location for skiing or cross-country skiing. And also the amenities are absolutely top - especially in the kitchen. We really felt very comfortable during our stay and can definitely recommend the accommodation!

Highly recommend the lovely apartment in Geilo. Great host who responds quickly to messages. The apartment is very well located, close to beautiful nature and ski lift. We'd love to come back.

We had a great weekend in Gausta and the place worked super well for me and my son. Unfortunately, the lift and slopes that are next to the apartment did not open, but the buses often go away to Skicenter and a couple of times we walked away with the skis, which also works if you do not want to wait for the bus. Great location on the property with a nice view of Gaustatoppen!

The accommodation was just great, it was clean and warm and quiet. The tourist attraction is a little further away, but the nature outside is nice for skiing. Are well suited for skiing from there every day to Hemsedal for skiing.

Lovely house in the mountains, we liked it very much and would choose for it again at any time! It‘s quiet but still good to reach by car. Ingun lives closeby and provides help if needed. Thanks a lot!

We had a great stay at Magnus' cottage. It's a very cozy place, with top cross-country skiing spots really close. It was super easy to communicate with Magnus and he was kind enough to give us very good recommendations on things to do in the area. Just keep in mind that there's no running water! It's the real hytte experience here :))

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway
