House vacation rentals in Buskerud

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

We had a very pleasant stay with two adults and two children. Awesome house, clean and welcoming, all amenities. The location was quiet and peaceful and very lovely with a pool in the heat :) Pia responded quickly and was very service minded. We would love to come back :)

Kjetil’s was an absolutely wonderful host. He really did go above and beyond when it come to ensuring we had all we had for our stay. Local recommendations a plenty, we hiked the kings view, experienced the local Glassworks factory (way more there than you think!) and spend a lovely morning on the island across the bridge where we swam and bathed in a beautiful secluded spot followed by lunch at the golf course. The home itself is spacious and the views are incredible. The pool is heated and the morning and evening calm on the rooftop patio were wonderful. Our kids played for hours and you really do have to pinch yourself at the views. As with the previous review, perhaps a little storage space for unpacking would be nice, but it didn’t bother us too much. The locals are so kind, genuine and just have a calming presence about them and we (4 adults and 6 kids) all had the most wonderful time. Thank you Kjetil!

Lovely, modern clean house with large patio. Great gym/house!. Great with a pool! (Patio is on the backside of the house and nicely sheltered from nearby houses). The house was ok for 7 guests but the bathroom for the Master bedroom, on the ground floor, was a bit inaccessible for the other 5 people. Bathroom and toilet on the 2nd floor had to be used by the other 5. There were a few people in between but went well. The kitchen has most of what you need. Empty, clean and tidy fridge. Good beds and duvets (clean linens were on beds when we arrived :-) ). Superb TV room for children/adult on the 1. floor. Good hiking opportunities right at the house, as well as a football field. House is located on a hill from main road. Grocery store max 5 min by car. Good parking with easy electric charging. Some distance from "shopping", restaurant and sea. Should have a car. Cozy house. Would recommend! The owner responds quickly if any questions.

A beautiful house which worked perfectly for our family of 7. Freshly renovated to a high standard. Kids loved the pool and it was great to have the ability to have a boat docked at the house. Amazing view. All in all a great experience.

Very lovely stay, hope to come back one day ! The house is really magical and everything was as clean and functional. The water has a bit of a taste, like some other guests noted, so we brought a few bottles with us just for drinking and it was no problem. Bente left us some delicious home-made biscuits for our arrival. It was easy to access and park. It snowed a lot, but everything was regularly plowed. Thank you for everything !

We stayed 4 nights in Lisa's cabin. We had a great time. The cabin is well equipped, clean and the skilift is only a few minutes walk away. Highly recommended if you want a cosy place to stay in Hemsedal.

We had a lovely week in Rauland. We were there without a car and could do everything in about 15 minutes on foot (shopping, to the cross-country ski trails or even to the free ski bus). The house was very cozy and something very special!

We had a great weekend at the house. Spacious with space, good beds and all necessary equipment in the kitchen to cook. The host always responded quickly and kindly. We gladly came back😊

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

Nice cabin and efficient communication ahead of time and along the way.

Worth it for the stunning view. As others have said its like staying in your grandparents house but that is part of its charm. The drive is steep but not that bad. Per responded well to enquiries.

A perfect place for us! Spacious, really homey, and just right laid back. Great place to bring kids too. As downtown as can be. And it was only pleasant and easy to communicate with Hilde! We will definitely rent to rent the place again. Thanks for us!

This is the second time will rent Nora's house. The place and accommodation was as great and well cared for as the first time and everything worked out amazingly. Nora and her husband are good and attentive hosts and we received a warm welcome and good follow-up throughout our stay. We had a great stay in every way and will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful time at Clare Margaret's place. We spend time in the cosy comfortable house, garden and beautiful surroundings. Clare is a sublime host. She is responsive and has lots of wonderful tips of things you can do in de surroundings. We would love to come back!

very nice location overlooking fjord. Great house, great and tastefully furnished. Impeccable communication with Line at all times. We would definitely come back.

Spectacular apartment very well equipped and at a very good price. The only thing we didn't like was some cleaning detail and the front door didn't work well. The apartment is also very nice and I would repeat the stay.

Marianne is an excellent host. We stayed for 3 months and any queries we’ve had have been addressed swiftly. The property is in excellent condition and catered for two adults and a toddler. We particularly appreciated that the area is quiet and full of nature. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the place for 3 days. It worked out great for us. The views from the place were awesome. It was big enough for our group to spread out and kids really enjoyed the foosball table. The hike down to the ocean was nice. Ample parking and quiet neighborhood. Kelly was very responsive, helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Only downside is that the place is an hour away from Oslo. The drive back to the place felt very long after a long day of sightseeing.
