Our stay at Julia’s and Sean’s quaint cottage was all that we were hoping for. Well done up and all appliances you could want. It’s right in town with the park across the road. A beautiful location. If you just want to walk into town for a coffee or a meal at night you are right there. It was very cold while we were there but the reverse cycle air conditioning did the job as well as a couple of heaters. We didn’t light the fireplaces as only there two nights. Julia and Sean are super responsive to your messages and gave great recommendations for coffee and local restaurants. If you are looking for a bit of a historical experience then book the Workers Cottage you won’t be disappointed.

Fred and Jacquie’s place is one of those hidden gems you can only wish to find. With the nice modern cottage contrasted with the farm surrounding it, it has all the comforts you could want with the relaxing backdrop. Fred and Jacquie are wonderful people with so much to give. They gave us fantastic recommendations to do around the place and were just a joy to talk to. Visiting Simpson the miniature donkey on the farm is a must as well! We will definitely be returning!

This was our second stay - it’s a beautiful house, lots of room and comfortable beds. There was plenty of wood for the inside fire and the outside fire pit. An absolute abundance of birds- we counted 23 species and other wildlife around. Well stocked kitchen with staples supplied which is handy. This is a great location - close to town and the nearby National parks. We’ll be back again next year.

A gorgeous cottage with a private patio and lawn. Comfy warm bed and linen. Oil heaters for extra warmth. Well equipped kitchen. Roomy lounge room with clean fresh cushions and throws. Beautiful old fireplace with electric heater and fire ambience. Situated in between businesses; short walk to cafes, shops and parks. A lovely piece of history preserved.
