Really nice place, cost and well appointed. Good hosts and lovely stay. Little bit close to the main road, not really a problem, village was quiet really. Would stay again to go to beautiful Devon!

Emma was a fantastic host, excellent instructions before the stay and was fully engaging during the stay too, with hints and tips on things to do. The Old Butchers was so quirky and fun, decor was spot on, cosy, and homely. Emma had put the heating on and music for when we arrived which was a really lovely touch. All home comforts were there to use and she had thought of everything you might need for your stay. Really couldn’t fault it and would definitely recommend Emma and the old butchers. We would certainly go back. Loved the original features from the butchers too, a lot of love and care has clearly gone into it.

We had a fabulous week at the Old bakery. The cottage is delightful with everything you need and the most comfy bed! We got to use the log burner which was so cosy after a day out on the coast path. There is a shop and lovely pub literally on the doorstep which we used during our stay. Caroline was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay and would be very happy to go back again.

Francesca was so helpful and informative. The room was private, yet easy to find and lovely. Definitely worth the price.

Beautiful setting, amazing views, access to a fabulous river bordering the large, well kept grounds, comfortable, well equipped accommodation, great hosts....what's not to love. I've stayed in many self catering properties over the years and this one is one of the most memorable.

Had the most amazing weekend staying here, so cosy beautiful views. Hot tub was a dream! The hut itself is perfect everything you need absolutely immaculate and the bed was massive and so so comfy! Me and my friends cannot wait to return I’ve also recommended this hut to all my friends and family. Thanks for a wonderful stay x

Lovely apartment in a great location ...and with a dedicated parking space which is a bonus in Dartmoor. The apartment was really well designed and fitted out ...although small it didn't feel cramped and had lots of lovely touches....perfect ! Thank you for the welcome goodies :) Amazing garden and places to sit and admire the views over Dartmouth We loved your garden room which was beautifully furnished - a lovely space to have tea and read !

Staying at North Barn was an absolute delight. I was looking for a few days peace and quiet and could t have been happier with a stunning view and a wood burner to keep me snuggly warm. I was travelling alone and felt completely safe and comfortable even though North Barn is off the beaten track (but would advise arriving in daylight as it’s down some very narrow lanes). I didn’t get a chance to meet Jilly but communication ahead of and during my stay was great and I would love to make a return visit.
