Vacation rentals with lake access in Budapest

We had an amazing stay at Eva’s place with our family! The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need, from a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable living spaces. The kids absolutely loved the selection of toys, which kept them entertained throughout our stay, and the big garden was a perfect spot for them to run around and enjoy the outdoors. The location was fantastic as well—everything we needed was close by, from shops to parks, making it super convenient for our family. Eva was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this place for anyone traveling with kids or looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway.

Great house with lots of amenities in quiet area about 40 minutes to Budapest. We stayed in off-season so lots of things nearby closed but not a problem. Zsolt is a very gracious host, he actually met us to show us around and he was very quick to answer questions and to help out. Thanks so much for a great stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Szabolcs's place. The location was peaceful and beautiful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Szabolcs was a kind and attentive host, always ready to help if anything came up. Everything was absolutely fine, I highly recommend the place! It's a very nice, clean, and baby-friendly place (we got cribs and a high chair, and there were toys for the little ones). The kitchen is well-equipped, clean linens, towels, and cooling and heating air conditioning in November. There was a pipe burst a few streets away on the evening of our arrival, which the owner immediately told us about and came up with suggestions for solutions. Fortunately, it didn't affect the apartment to a great extent, so we didn't have to take the opportunity, but it was very sympathetic to have ready ideas to make our “vacation” as less as possible. Thank you for everything!

We had a super winter weekend in the house. Ideal for 4 families, but more can fit. It could have been even better in good weather, so we couldn't take advantage of the comfortable patio and the stove in the back, but it was still very nice. We highly recommend it.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! Our host went above and beyond to make our trip seamless—he kindly allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was a huge relief given our travel schedule. When our flight was delayed, he even let us keep our bags in the apartment, making the day much easier to manage. The apartment itself is wonderful—spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and there were plenty of towels and amenities to make us feel at home. The location is also perfect, with everything we wanted to do nearby. It’s just a 15 min walk to the Hungarian Parliament, and we kept walking past it on our weekend. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you again for being such a thoughtful and accommodating host!

Cool, walkable place, public transport takes you wherever you need. Lots of playgrounds to visit with kids. Pool & sauna are amazing things to have too. The host is super helpful and always responsive. Thank you.

very nice stay

Very good apartment, everything was fine except for a few things that were broken but that didn't affect the experience.

Beautiful, spacious flat in the heart of budapest. We were very comfortable and felt like we had plenty of space even with 9 people. Many of the main attractions like parliament and the basilica are within walking distance. Jeff was very responsive and accommodating to our needs and graciously allowed us to check in early and check out a bit later. Everything was very clean and comfortable and i would definitely recommend this place to anyone considering staying.

Adam’s place is a perfect getaway for couples in a really nice and peaceful surrounding.

It is a great place. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and just a few minute walk from the public beach. It is absolutely clean, immaculate, comfortable and well equipped. We also loved the interior design. Agnes is an excellent host. She was prompt and helpful. We had a minor technical glitch, but she and her husband went above and beyond to resolve the problem. Overall we were happy with our choice and we would certainly go back in the future.

The apartment has a great location: quiet on a lake with beautiful views of the lake from the living room/kitchen and from the large balcony. You can be in downtown within about 30-40 minutes by car. A great choice if you are looking for peace and quiet after a day of adventuring. Hosts are very friendly. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and practically furnished. I found the bed comfortable. I will be very happy to come back when I am in Budapest.
