Apartment vacation rentals in Budapest

The location is perfect. The view of the Basilica from the bay window is spectacular. You are in the middle of all the action and walking distance from most places. The apartment is spacious for two people. The building is very old, so it is going to have "character". Be prepared for it. It was very helpful to have Kata let us in and gives us the tips for elevator, common lights, washer, heater, external window blinds, gas range, etc. But, everything works. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishes. Kata really cares that you have a great time. She was prompt with replies. Had lots of suggestions. Went out of her way to check availability of night river cruise. She is a top host.

Eva was the most wonderful host we could have asked for. She was incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. She took the time to explain everything with a map and shared lots of helpful recommendations to help us enjoy the best of Budapest. What truly touched us was her generosity — she brought us delicious Indian food, which was such a thoughtful and comforting gesture. She even brought a scooter for our daughter to play with, which made her so happy! On top of that, she surprised us with cookies , wine, beer, and a variety of cooking appliances, making us feel completely at home. The flat was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the location was perfect — close to everything you could need. This was truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and Eva made it unforgettable. Thank you so much, Eva!

Virkelig god, meget rummelig, praktisk, ren og uhyre centralt beliggende lejlighed. Lejligheden var smukt indrettet med omtanke og mange fine detaljer. Værten var meget imødekommende, venlig og god til at kommunikere. Vi fik lov til at komme tidligere ind - og det var dejligt, da vi var trætte efter en lang rejse. Den lå tæt på mange seværdigheder og interessante omgivelser. Lejligheden ligger i et trafikeret område, men da den lå på 4. sal havde det ikke så stor betydning. Vi kan kun give lejligheden og Boglarka de varmeste anbefalinger!

Airbnb was exactly as described. A beautiful home and very central location. Our host was fabulous. We particularly enjoyed the toiletries on offer. Thank you for a lovely trip!

Lovely central location, close to the Danube which is what first attracted us to Karesz's place. It is very well kept, clean, bright and airy, and definitely eclectic, but in a good way. As others have said, this is on the third floor up a spiral staircase - easy to navigate during the day but a little tricker at night. All in all, a great place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Had a few days in Budapest and used Istvan’s place as our base; building is old but, has a lift and apartment has been renovated nicely. Walking distance to everything tourists need to see; Good selection of restaurants and breaky places close by and main shopping mall within two blocks; Bed was comfy and shower and accomodation was spacious for two - bonus washing machine and drying rack also available; Istvan was a great host from start to finish, easy to communicate with, some really good check in instructions via YouTube supplied and he was very flexible with check in time, couldn’t ask for a better host. Staying at this apartment was nothing short of magical. From the moment I walked in, I was completely captivated by its opulence and grandeur. The intricate gold detailing, the rich crimson accents, and the luxurious furnishings made me feel as though I had stepped into a royal palace. Every corner of the apartment radiates elegance and sophistication. The bedroom was a dream—a beautifully carved canopy bed paired with exquisite linens and ornate details that made it hard to leave. The living space, with its floor-to-ceiling windows and a panoramic view, was absolutely mesmerizing. The piano and vintage decor added such charm that I felt transported to another era. Not only was the space itself incredible, but the host was an absolute gem—polite, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Sebastian provided thoughtful touches and clear communication throughout, which made my stay seamless and memorable. I cannot recommend this apartment enough.

Adored staying in this apartment, tucked up under the eves of an old apartment building with a lovely deck and view of the Danube and Parliament. The location was perfect for me... quiet street, quiet building, steps away from entry areas to Castle Hill. Easy to explore that historical site as well as surrounding neighborhood, and get over to Pest side. Easy for taxi to find you if needed. The apartment has two very generous bedrooms with large beds and one common area with a bathroom off that. Bedrooms have very comfy beds and skylights (with blackout shades). Common area has an adorable table and chairs and fits all the amenities into a compact space, bathroom is also well sized with great water pressure. The deck is off the common room and we used it a lot. Lovely view and quiet. If you enjoy lounging in a large common area, this apartment might feel a bit cramped as there are no couches (particularly if weather is bad or you don't use deck). I would absolutely stay here again.

Wir hatten zu fünft einen perfekteb Aufenthalt in diesem Airbnb. Die Lage ist super central. Man hat 8min zur Metro und kann auch sonst viele Sehenswürdigkeiten wie das Opernhaus oder die Matthiaskirche super zu Fuss erreichen. Viele gute Restaurants hat es in der Nähe, wie auch Bars und Shopping Möglichkeiten. Das Airbnb hat alles was es braucht und ist top modern. Der Balkon ist ein Highlight des Airbnb, da süss und wunderschön ist.

There is only one real bed room with beds all over. The redeeming factor is the jacuzzi on top of Budapest essentially. Enjoyed this thoroughly with my friends Please assist with increasing water volume in tub. Loved the places🔥

This is simply a wonderful place to stay in Budapest. The apartment has been beautifully designed, decorated and is well equipped. It’s in my favourite part of the city, within walking distance of great bars and restaurants. Szabina was the perfect host and very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend

Fueron muy amables, cumplieron con mis expectativas y las superaron en muchos aspectos, estuvieron atentas a necesidades como el transporte o recomendación de lugares para comer, sin duda calidad precio merece la pena, si volvemos a Budapest volveremos a contactar con Sara para poder alojarnos ahí de nuevo. Hemos disfrutado muchísimo de todo el apartamento y sobre todo de su terraza y las maravillosas vistas que tiene, tanto que a veces nos costaba hasta salir de el apartamento de lo agusto que estamos ♥️ Si estás pensando en alojarte en algún sitio no lo dudes mas, es mi 3a vez en la ciudad y es el mejor alojamiento en el que he estado!

The location is perfect!! Every restaurant I wanted to try was less than a 5 minute walk! The unit was great and felt homey! Would highly recommended!

This apartment was lovely, very fresh and modern, really tastefully decorated, it had all of the amenities that we could have wanted for our stay and was very comfy and cosy. The location was great and really walkable to everything that we wanted to do during our visit. Check in was flexible and accommodated our late flight without us needing to bother anyone, also we were in quite a busy area but we didn't hear any noise in the apartment as it was quite set back so nice and peaceful while still being in the main area for bars and restaurants. Andrea was very responsive and provided lots of information via message which made the whole process really easy. Was a brilliant stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Budapest.

This apartment was perfect for us. Ercan met us upon arrival and showed us around the flat, he allowed us to leave our bags at the apartment while they were cleaning it which meant we could start exploring the city right away. The apartment was big, plenty of space, just like the photos with all amenities listed. It was a perfect little stay and we hope to be back some day!

This apartment could not be any more central! It is beautifully decorated, clean and today with everything we could’ve wished for. Transportation in Budapest is fantastic and the apartment is very close to tram, train, metro and bus. The number of fantastic restaurants within a few minutes walk is mind-boggling and my hubby particularly enjoyed the craft beer houses we found near by too. You don’t need to look any further than this apartment. Top class!

George is a warm, welcoming host. His goodness & humility radiates; he makes you feel comfortable immediately. And the view from the balcony is stunning, and is worth the stay just for this alone. We stayed in this lovely Buda apartment for almost two weeks and had an amazing time. The location is ideal, quiet neighborhood but still close to the city center and all the main restaurants and cafes. The apartment is even more beautiful than in the photos. It’s stylish, clean, and full of thoughtful design touches, like warm lighting, carpets, coat hangers, and smart storage. Every detail felt intentional. Communication with the host was fantastic. She was kind, quick to respond, and genuinely cared that everything went smoothly. Her attention to detail really stood out. We’ve stayed in quite a few apartments in Budapest over the years, and this one definitely stood out in a really positive way. We felt comfortable and at home that we’ve already booked our next visit! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable place to stay in the city.
