We loved our peaceful stay at Andrew’s cottage! It was in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The house was clean, tidy, and cozy. We easily found anything we needed during our stay, whether it be cleaning supplies, extra blankets or kitchen essentials. The kitchen was very well-equipped for those who like us who like to cook. Should we ever return, I’d likely opt to rent a car or golf cart as the cottage is about a mile walk from the ferry shopping/dining. The Peaks Island Taxi was helpful and shuttled us up to an early ferry ride on our departure. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the chipmunks and turkeys scamper across the path. We especially loved Spar Cove which is a very short walk from the cottage! I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, private retreat.

Skyview provided a beautiful setting for a romantic weekend getaway. The hot tub was definitely a highlight. Thoughtful decor and welcoming touches made us feel so at home. We hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Nancy’s home. We enjoyed having the entire house to ourselves and there was plenty of room for the four of us to spread out. Bonus points for the washer and dryer, and the garage! The location was perfect with easy access for all that Portland has to offer. We would definitely stay here again.

Cammie's home was right out of a beautiful coastal homes magazine. The coastal furnishings and touches were fun and lent to the overall vibe of being near the beach and ocean. The beds were very comfortable with layers of warm, quality bedding. The kitchen was very nicely equipped with all the tools necessary to cook and dine in. The path to the beach was well-worn, leading to one of the most beautiful dawn to dusk, breathtaking views. Truly the nicest AirBnB experience I've had.

This was a great place to setup a homebase to explore the great shops and restaurants of Portland for the weekend. Donna does a great job of utilizing the space and offers assistance with anything. Luckily for us everything was great and we never needed it.

We had a fantastic stay at the Farmhouse. It was the perfect fall getaway for our group. The home and brewery were cozy, rustic and ideal for a relaxing weekend with great beer. Dizzy the cat was a major highlight of our stay - he was so friendly and will sleep at the foot of your bed if you let him. Definitely would recommend checking out the Damariscotta area during your stay - the downtown was great for shopping and getting a quick meal before heading back to the privacy of the farmhouse. My wife and our friends are already planning a trip to come back next year - don’t miss this spot!

The scenery was beautiful and the house was the perfect size for our family. The kitchen was fantastic and the living room was very cozy with a nice fire place. The kids had plenty to do, we were able to spread out, and Susan was very nice to talk to and very responsive.

Thank you for such a beautiful, clean, extremely well stocked home. Our stay was very comfortable, with extra blankets for cozy evenings on the couch, huge dining table would easily fit 8, plenty of towels. This house had everything you would need and many extra touches. If you needed scissors, they had a pair, tape, chip clip, serving dishes, games, many streaming channels, dish soap, laundry detergent. The house was a perfect fit for our family. We initially chose the house for the location, such close proximity to everything, and once we arrived we discovered it offered so much more. We would love to stay again. Thank you

It was an unexpected peaceful getaway at "Ferry Landing" The last minute accommodation was highly appreciated and accompanied with seamless self check in and check out. The host Joy was very professional and friendly in all communications, and even was helpful in finding the t.v. remote 😁. I had a very comfortable two days while visiting friends.

This place is perfect! The house is so cute and cozy we didn’t want to leave. The hosts left a hand written card and a bottle of wine for us when we arrived, which was so thoughtful. Beautiful views and tons of privacy. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone!

My fiancé and I booked a long weekend and the yurt did not disappoint! Everything you need is provided. The pellet stove really keeps the place warm - and we came on a weekend when the temperature was 20 degrees during the day along with snow and wind. The hot tub was super easy to use, and we especially enjoyed it with the cold weather. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need for cooking, and Shari provided a beautiful welcome basket with snacks and other goodies which was a really nice touch. Bathroom was super clean. The king bed was super comfortable. Shari is incredibly friendly and responsive. Whenever we messaged her she responded literally within 5 minutes when we had a question. If you’re looking for a cozy weekend getaway with your partner, the yurt will not disappoint. We’ll definitely be coming back the next chance we get!

Wonderful hosts. Provided a comfortable clean and well appointed place to stay. Extremely communicative and prompt. Great location and easy access to facilities in the greater Portland area. And yes, beach is a 5min walk from Sam's place!

This was our first time in a yurt, and it was fantastic! Just the structure of the yurt itself was amazing to look at. The birch supports were beautiful and interesting. The beds were comfortable, the wood stove easy to use, and it kept us quite warm in 30-degree temperatures. Everything about the site was easy. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the appliances worked well. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay. The place felt both spacious and cozy. Even the porta-potty was more pleasant than others we have used. There were little extras that enhanced the experience -- a rocking bench and comfortable chairs around the firepit, unlimited firewood, decorations in the yurt, whimsical hand-blown glasses, and a step above typical dinnerware. Jamie went out of his way to accommodate us when we misread the listing and did not have water. He was gracious about supplying us with 5-gallon jugs that saved our weekend. We highly recommend Wild Acres and will eagerly return!

Cozy, clean, pretty apartment located on a quiet, horse training farm located an easy 30min. drive to downtown Portland. Supermarket about 5 mins away…very convenient. Kitchen has everything you need. Everything in home was comfy, good quality and well-thought-out. Exactly like the photos & description. Jonathan was a great host…responsive and helpful. He provided clear, useful info, allowed us to check in a few hours early and even brought us some wood for the wood stove. It was lovely to be on a horse farm to watch & interact with them. Great walking trail just behind the property and others nearby. We stayed there with family (adult kids celebrating mom’s bday). It was perfect for cooking meals together, playing games and just relaxing. Ideal for a getaway for a small group of friends, 2-3 couples, or a family with a few kids. There are 2 bedrooms and a loft sleeping space (which is comfy but not the easiest to get to!) Highly recommend as a cozy retreat w/ access to Portland.
