Family-friendly vacation rentals in British Virgin Islands

Don’t second guess, just go ahead and book! The pictures do not do this place justice at all. We came here on our honeymoon and ended up extending our stay because of how beautiful and relaxing this place is! We are hoping to make this a yearly trip for us and already counting down the days till we can come back. Ben and his son were amazing hosts. They were quick to reply and gave us some great spots to check out! Just a heads up, make sure to get mosquito repellent!

We had a lovely week! The house is so beautiful, off the beaten path but easily accessible and close to town, the views are genuinely breathtaking, the space comfortable and enjoyable, and Jeremy is a communicative host. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a beautiful, quiet place off the beaten path. Ben's cottage delivered! The cottage was exactly as pictured - just gorgeous. The cottage had lots of details and was well thought out. The views are to die for; the sound of the crashing waves 24/7 and the evening birds and crickets chirping at night kept us relaxed. The windows had no screens, but we didn't mind, and the bugs weren't too bad - that's what geckos are for! Ceiling fans and A/C kept us cool. I was happy we rented a 4-wheel drive vehicle. You will definitely need one to get to and from the cottage and around the island. That said, the nearest white-sand beach is walkable. Check-in was easy; checking out was even easier. If you want to unplug and relax in a gorgeous location, this is the rental for you.

This place is a true gem of the BVI’S, a private cottage walking distance from the beach 🏖. Will definitely come back. Thanks for the hospitality

Can't recommend this place enough! Patricia and Alphonso were amazing and the apartments were clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed our whole experience there and everyone was very helpful and friendly.

First time ever in BVI and could not have picked a better place to stay!! Absolutely epic location. We only left the house twice in the week-once to kite board and once for groceries. Amazing stay!

First of all, the hosts are amazing. Patricia followed up throughout my stay without “hovering.” Alphonso greeted me with patience (it was a long day of travel and my brain wasn’t functioning on all cylinders!) and a big smile. He suggested we get takeaway from Sebastian’s, an easy walk, before they closed for the evening. The food was delicious. The chicken wings are definitely hot…just as I hoped! Settling in was easy. I immediately felt relaxed especially on the porch listening to the neighborhood settle in and then for coffee the next morning. The beach at Apple Bay is clean, private, the water is stunning to look at and refreshing. Patricia and Alphonsos place is ideal for anyone who appreciates immersing themselves in an off the beaten path location. If you yearn to explore everything Tortola has to offer you can also rent a car directly with Alphonso.

Kenneth's place is wonderful. The location on Loblolly beach is perfect - very quiet and peaceful, great beach, good snorkelling, and close to Big Bamboo. We enjoyed the visits from the baby goats. The cottage itself is very comfortable and clean. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the cottages at Loblolly Bay.

We had an incredible experience! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is absolutely the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Jerome and his recommendations are top notch and Tortola is a wonderful place to visit I highly recommend it. Thank you very much Jerome and Mary we will be back!

Bigger Splash was perfect for our group of 9 family members. We really enjoyed walking to the Baths and Spring Bay and eating many of our meals in the house. The living room has a spectacular view and the sunsets from the roof were beautiful. The kids enjoyed the pool and brand new snorkeling equipment. The villa staff were very helpful and responsive.

We had a fab 3 night stay at Fort Recovery. Stunning position and so peaceful and relaxing. Justin was a great host and couldn’t have been more helpful even letting me use his paddle board and Kayak. It’s worth being aware the restaurant was closed due to our visit being out of season and eating out options are very limited at Soper’s Hole but provisions can be purchased easily from the big supermarkets in Road Town or in the small store a short walk down the road. Can’t recommend the Fort enough if you are looking for peace and quiet, in a beautiful spot.

We were blown away by the Sundowner. The privacy and beautiful surroundings were so much more beautiful then the pictures could convey. As soon as you step foot on the property, you are transformed into paradise. We provided our travel details and Sonny was waiting for us to check us in and give us the layout of the place and where to find everything we needed. It was also so nice of him to check in throughout our stay to make sure we were all taken care of. Pina went above and beyond providing amazing transportation, shopping, and restaurant options, as well as areas to check out. Thank you so much for all of that as it allowed us to really tailor our trip to fit the relaxing agenda with a little celebrating we had in mind. The snorkeling right outside the door at the private beach was incredible. Of course we spent a day at The Baths, but thanks to Pina’s suggestion, we also went Saba Rock. Sugarcane restaurant right up the street should also not be missed. Can’t wait to go back!

Gorgeous villa…even nicer than the pictures. The pool and outside area were fantastic. So nice to sit outside and relax while listening to the waves. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the option to have groceries delivered was so helpful. The beds were very comfortable and everything was super clean. We did lots of beach hopping and really enjoyed being so close to Smuggler’s cove. If we ever find ourselves back in Tortola we’ll be back!
