Blue House, an Off-Grid Sanctuary

MaryRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Blue House is a soulful and creative retreat. Full of quirky touches that make you smile. Everything in the place is there for a reason. The inside has everything you need, and the 3 porches invite you to experience the wonder of the natural beauty all around. Our host, Cynta, is a guide and a friend to all. This is our second visit, and I hope not our last.

Fantastic stay. Couldn't be a better location for big bend, and the place is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. I would stay in any of Daryl's properties based on how excellent this one was

Villa Terlingua, Stylish Main House

JonathanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Cynta is a wonderful warm person who has shared her passions and life through her hospitality and beautiful house. The space is truly a gem and has the essence of terlingua and the area. Our close friends stayed here with us and we had a wonderful time sleeping under the stars and walking the trail to the ghost town for great food and experiences. Highly recommend this place. I know this will be our new place to stay any time we need to escape and let the desert reset our stresses

Big Bend Getaway: Classic Adobe with Modern Flair

SusanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place was well laid out, with a comfortable living space as well as a nice dining area and kitchen. The bedrooms were just large enough so that we could have room for luggage. There were books about the area, including some history and useful trail maps and information for Big Bend National Park. There was a telescope we could use, as well as chairs that were perfect for sitting and leaning back and looking at the stars. The area was very quiet and private, with a great view of the area as well as the night sky. The only negative of the place was the intense need to conserve water -- something to be expected in the desert had we thought about it, but not something we were used to!

Deluxe Farmhouse With Breathtaking Views!

MorganRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This was by far my favorite AirBnB we’ve stayed in and we’ve stayed in around 10 so far. Half the time when you stay in an Airbnb it’s halfway stocked with items or doesn’t have any at all but this place was great because it had linens, soap, etc. already in the house. And super clean too! The hosts had the bathrooms stocked with linens, hand soap, shower soap, and shampoo & conditioner. The kitchen was also fully stocked with linens, silverware and pots/pans. There was also laundry detergent in the laundry room which was a bonus. We traveled with our 18month old and brought a travel highchair but didn’t even need it because there was one already in the house.

Big Bend StarGazer PLUS: 2 Retro Airstreams for 4

ShannonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our family of 4 from Ky rented the Stargazer when visiting Big Bend NP. We have stayed at national park base camps all over the US, and this definitely ranks as a favorite. It’s just so different from anything we’ve ever experienced. The mountain views, the amazing sunrises and the big, dark night sky were enjoyed beyond words by each of us. The accommodations took a little getting used to, but that should be expected when staying in airstreams in the middle of the desert. Come with an open mind! We also fell in love with Terlingua and met such nice people there. We really enjoyed the history and ambiance of the Starlight Theatre and Venga was so close for coffee and breakfast. It was a super quirky, quaint little spot full of local flair. Long Draw pizza was also a hit! We totally recommend this spot and would return again and again if it wasn’t so hard for us to get to ;-)
