The 1780 Cabin on Main

A charming cabin built circa 1780 situated right on Main Street, just steps from Pubs and Restaurants and easy walking distance to historic Mercersburg Academy. There is a separate sleeping area upstairs with a queen-size memory foam bed. The lower level features a foldout couch and air mattress for additional guests, as well as a 55" TV and a wet bar and bathroom. Visitors have universally enjoyed the cabin's cozy feel. While there is no yard available, the town is great for walking dogs.

Self check for convenience Tiny cabin with all you need squeezed into it for pleasant stay. It is located on a secluded property not far (5 miles) from major interstates. It is a small guest house across the lawn from our house where my wife and I live. It has window AC and wifi available. Free continental breakfast foods provided. (There is no kitchen) Cleaned to perfection ! We do spray for bugs but it is not unusual to see some spiders and bugs since the cabin is right against the woods.

3 Bedroom Farmhouse located out in the country. A front porch overlooks a pasture and pond. A back porch overlooks barns, animals, and fields. A dining room table with seating for six. A spacious living room with a wrap around sofa. A fully furnished kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher. One bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with a king bed, and a third bedroom with twin bunks. The spacious bathroom also includes washer and dryer. There are two ponds stocked for fishing.

This little haven is close to a great fishing spot at Meadow Grounds State Park lake. Hiking at Cowens Gap State Park. And Buchanan's Birthplace State Park not far away.
