Apartment vacation rentals in Breckland District

Had a great stay. Lovely apartment and location. Lisa's communication was great too and when we had a small issue (caused by my son) she was very helpful and quick to respond. Only small downside for me (and clearly only me as no one else mentioned it in any reviews) was how little the blinds did to keep light out which made it difficult to get our 2 year old to sleep. The blinds were a little flimsy too, one of the frames was hanging down in one of the bedrooms. It mattered very little as we had a great stay and would recommend to anyone.

Enjoyed staying at Peter's flat, very comfortable. Was working in the area for a few days and it was great to be able to cook and cater for myself rather than eating out all the time. Central location and great for going for walks in the evenings. Added bonus a parking space!

Our second stay at the Old School Rooms. We were impressed the first time (April 2025) and just so on this visit (May 2025). It so comfortable you immediately feel at home. Everything available that you may need. Judith an excellent host, always responds promptly and very helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending.

Thank you for the stay, lovely home in the perfect location, just off Mill Road with a variety of choices. They were kind to allow an early checkin and communication was lovely, responding to any enquiries needed. Thank again for a wonderful stay and a chance to wind down in Cambridge.

Very central, exactly as it says. And handy for those who know the King Street run. One good sized double bedroom. One smaller double. Comfortable beds. Good hot shower. Well equipped kitchen. Good description on the listings.

This is a very well equipped and clean apartment on the first floor (not ground floor) of a modern apartment 2 minutes walk from Cambridge Station. It's safe and secure. Very comfortable furniture. The balcony overlooks a grassy commons area...and is on the Southside, thus thus a warm sunshine during the day. Thanks to the hosts John and Amy for making this easy and comfortable and safe!

Nice place to stay whilst working in the area. Short walk to the beach and town. All the amenities needed for a short stay.

We had a lovely 1 night stay, very easy self check in with clear instructions. The apartment was clean and modern. The kitchen has all you need to cook with. Would recommend

Lovely, spacious apartment in a very quiet area, surrounded by trees. Close to supermarket and some restaurants/take-aways, town centre not too far but car or public transport needed. Very relaxing place, highly recommended.

Absolutely great location. Property to the rear of North Parade under the lighthouse. Literally a stones through from Adnams Brewery and 1 minute walk from the beach and promenade. Jane Elizabeth is a wonderful host. Thank you

We had a great stay. The apartment was exactly as described and was perfectly situated for easy walking to the town centre and the riverside. The owner was very responsive to my communications. I would definitely use this apartment again.

Had a fabulous week exploring Ipswich and Suffolk; this is a great base from which to visit a multitude of places and so much variety from Jimmy's Farm to World War 2 collections to falconry and kayaking to Saxon and medieval history; the furthest we drove was 40 miles. Excellent apartment with interesting views and Kie was a superb host - he met us at the apartment and also messaged during the week to check that everything was ok. Very happy to recommend this apartment and will definitely be visiting again in the future.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Liz’s place and appreciated the flat and its location very much. Liz provided coffee, tea, milk and biscuits which was very nice. The flat is very clean, the kitchen and bath are roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent and we walked everywhere in downtown Cambridge from there. Also, the street is quiet despite its central location. Definitely recommend!

Great lodge with good facilities. I had read another review about the size of the towels, especially if using the hot tub so we took our own. Other than that everything was fab.

The accommodation was spotless clean and very easy to find. Modern accommodation, matches the photos and the hot tub was warm and just the perfect way to unwind. The peacocks and peahens were amazing to see and the surroundings were peaceful. Loved every second of it. Thank you for the welcome basket and for the peacock food. Would definitely recommend.

The Weld is absolutely stunning! It’s such a lovely place. The quality is unbelievable. Perfect location and everything you need. Lovely being part of Byfords as well. Nice little complementary voucher for Tea and cake at Byfords for our stay and lovely local bread left for us. Everything was perfect. Would definately stay again!

I went there with my wife for her birthday and spent a couple of nights. The place is very serene. Apartment is impeccable and felt like home. The spa staff is awesome. They even helped me plan a surprise for my wife. The host is also very helpful and responsive.

This property was very clean throughout. Overall a very well thought out home with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for those weekend cooking great food with family and friends. With both a comfortable snug around the log burner downstairs and a lovely airy sitting room upstairs with vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, there’s plenty of space to enjoy your time here. A notable mention to how comfortable the beds were at Pelican Lodge. It has gated, off road parking for 2 cars, while the rear garden is secure so you can let the dog roam worry free. The wood fired hot tub and kamado bbq completed what we thought was a brilliant home for the weekend. Would 100% recommend.

Anna’s was such a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Very private and quiet, but close to so many attractions if one decided to be adventurous. The space was clean, warm and welcoming. And the hot tub was just the icing on the cake after a long day exploring. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend to friends and family.

Stunning views from an equally stunning property ...it is as the pictures describe . So beautiful . (The hot tub is easy to light , we used 4 woodies firelighters to get it going but had we not have read previous reviews we probably wouldnt have taken the logs , you will need 4 bags ) The hosts are both lovely and very helpful..Lovely walks from the property , to the tiny village and down to the estuary.....Thank you for letting us have a share in the beauty of this place. We look forward to returning.

Amazing stay at the Loft in Thorndon! Very relaxing location and atmosphere, especially in the hot tub! Lots of local recommendations, we particularly enjoyed the Black Horse pub! Overall amazing stay and would definitely recommend!
