Family-friendly vacation rentals in Braga

Beautiful accommodation, but the thing we will remember is the hospitality. We have never experienced such welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts before - they are incredible! Thanks so much for an amazing stay, especially at it was for our wedding weekend - it was very special.

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay. ❤️

My family and I stayed for nearly two weeks in Portugal, at 5 different AirBnBs. This was definitely the best. The property and views are beautiful, and the flat was very clean and well provisioned. But more than that, Daniel and the other co-hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend their place, especially for families looking to unwind a bit and who are interested in seeing aspects of Portugal outside of the more touristy, typical locations.

The stay was great! We searched, on the recommendation of a family member, a quiet place to rest and that is exactly what was given to us. Daniela, host, has always been very attentive and has given her utmost to provide us with a spectacular stay! The apartment was fully equipped and it was easy to feel at home! Many thanks for everything! You got my expectations to exceed!

The apartment was fantastic, with a welcoming host and a convenient location—especially for those exploring Braga by car. However, we found it a bit uncomfortable that it was a private residence with all the host's belongings still there. Additionally, the requirement to pay 30 Euros for using the air conditioning or washing machine felt a bit high.

The place was very clean and cozy. All as described. Very good service and well received.

Very nice space, very clean and Mr. Carlos recommended some restaurants and many places to visit. Great for family, I recommend it.

It's okay. Great contact with the host. The only thing missing was soap and dish soap. It was a little cold, but at our request, the host brought extra blankets and radiators. Later, we learned that this winter was colder than every year, and hence the issue. We came from a country where central heating is the norm :) Overall, I recommend. Good location, attractive price. The apartment was really big. The street noise didn't bother you. After a day of sightseeing, it slept well. However, in the winter months, for Europeans from the northern regions of Europe, I recommend taking warm pajamas. I just got ready, friends a little less ;)

A casa do Faial is an exceptional place. A very nice house full of character, indoors and outdoors with a lovely garden and a lovely pool. A real jewel and the responsiveness and kindness of the owner comes to make up for the slightest setback. Excellent value for money.

We stayed 4 nights in Elisa's lovely apartment, using it as a base for day trips each day in a different direction. It's a nice space to spend time in, and we really enjoyed the amount of light and private, peaceful view in the mornings when we woke up and had breakfast. The location is great in general, very easy to walk to restaurants or take a stroll around central Braga. Elisa was very responsive and helpful at all times. We had a car, and were able to get by using on-street parking. The spots were paid parking, but it's free from 7pm-9am (and Sundays), and we were gone most of the day, so we only ended up having to pay for a few hours each day, at about a Euro an hour, and were able to pay via an app (EasyPark), which made it simple to extend the time as needed.

Tayana, Ricardo, and their children are a jovial and welcoming family. The language difference has been overcome with both empathy and the help of Jean (the eldest son) who speaks English. The room is spacious and cool, in a house 5 minutes walk from Braga station and 10 from Porta del Sol (entrance to the historic center) and the cathedral.

Great apartment. A little hard to locate at first - but it is an apartment building and ones you get the direction from the host it's become easy. Apartment is clean and following street it's on will lead you right to the center plaza. On small complaint - cooler water in shower, may be needs to be readjusted...otherwise Great 3 bedroom, Elevator works, car parking underground, walk to the center = life is good :)!!!

Great stay, Nuno was great. Responsive and helpful. The apartment was a perfect location, and Braga was a beautiful city to visit full of history.

We absolutely loved staying here for 6 weeks. It was so peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable. Only 15 mins from Braga, and 7 mins to a large supermarket. I highly recommend a stay here.

Very pleasant and peaceful house. As a Portuguese family, we found the essence of what makes the Portuguese: hospitality and kindness. Antonio was a nice daddy for the kids and Filipe is very responsive and good advice for our outings and questions. the pool is very nice too. This house in the middle of nature is very beautiful and quiet. congratulations on this refreshing place.

Margarida, was an amazing host! She made us feel very welcome and relaxed upon arrival. Throughout our stay Margarida was also there for anything we needed being very responsive to messages and providing support with everything from questions about her place to recommendations locally! Quinta do casal is a beautiful, green place, the welcome from Aurora and her team is excellent. We spent 10 days with our 21 month old son, he loved playing in the garden, having toys available and seeing the chickens every morning. The pool is beautiful, several times we had it just for us it was great. the place is well located also to go to the river beaches on foot or to visit Braga, Bom jesus, Guimaraes etc. Shops a 5 minute drive away. Excellent vacation spot, only small downside the very busy road close by. Thank you for everything Aurora.

Fanstastic, stand-alone house with beautiful pool. High quality, comfortable furnishings with lots of space to spread out and relax in. Super well-stocked kitchen, including coffee, tea, port, and fresh fruits, eggs, milk, pastries, butter. Virginia was very friendly and helpful, giving us maps, hats, and marshmallows to roast. Our favorite place we stayed in Portugal. A real home and great location for exploring Guimaraes, Braga, Porto and the national park. Lovely fireplace with wood provided. Very quite with nice views. Highly recommended.

Modern space in a very peaceful place, great pool and plenty of places to enjoy the sun.

The stay at the Quinta Santiago was great. It was really quiet and the property is spacious, making it even more enjoyable being in the pool or playing tennis. Miguel was a great host, replying really quickly and bringing solutions to our requests.
