Welcome to Laxberg, a cozy 19th-century farm in the forests of Östgötland with Svartån bouncing along the plot. Walking distance to the beautiful lake Sommen with swimming, fishing and boating. The surrounding forests are lovely for walking, berry and mushroom picking. The accommodation consists of a main building, and a barn where half is converted into guest house with sauna and bathroom. On the plot there are several patios and a wood-fired pool (€150 supplement), so there are good opportunities to just enjoy the tranquility of the courtyard.

In our newly built guest house of about 40sqm, we have utilized the space for socializing and company during the day which turns into 6 comfortable sleeping places at night. The kitchen is small but fully equipped with for example combined oven/microwave, fan, fridge and freezer, crockery for 6 people. In the house there is a fresh bathroom with toilet and shower. On the porch there are chairs and a small table and barbecue. Guests are responsible for cleaning the barbecue. There is access to “own” lawn and trampoline.

Welcome to Staffansbo! The house is right next to ours, in other words you get to experience farm life just the way it is! There are animals, a playground for the children, a small creek that run below the farm and meadows just a walk away. Lake is a few miles away. In our house from the 18th century, you can feel the history in the walls, but even outside it is in a way an old life that takes place. We have a small farm with all that comes with it!
