We had a wonderful stay! We loved that there are trails accessible by foot from the cabin. (Just walk up the gravel road about 3 minutes.) We discovered that a great morning routine for us was to have coffee, walk through the forest, enjoy the morning light on the ocean, and head back to the cabin for breakfast. Peaceful and relaxing :) Henny is a great host. She shared a ton of wonderful information about places to go and yummy restaurants on the island. The cabin itself is cozy, charming, and quiet. The bed is comfortable, a high priority for me! We also appreciated that we could bring our dog and that she could be off-leash in the grassy area around the cabin.

This was our second stay at Alexandra's. The house and location are perfect for our family needs. We host a family dinner for other members that live in Nanaimo and there is plenty of room for everyone. The kids love the beach and the adults love the deck and beautiful ocean view. Incredible hosts and place to stay. Denise and Hans are one of the bests hosts I've experienced so far on AirBnB. They were quick and great at communicating, knew when to interact with us and when to give us space, and they provided many thoughtful touches to make our stay that extra special. The space was very relaxing, lovely views of the beautiful garden, hummingbirds frequently visit the feeder that is placed outside the bedroom window. The hosts provide a good selection for breakfast and the kitchen is well equipped to make our own meals (using the bbq). We loved the use of the soft tub and sauna. There is a nice short scenic trail at the end of the garden that follows the creek. And the beach is a short, 5 mins walk away. We'll definitely look to stay here again for a quiet, relaxing escape from Vancouver.

Katy and Dave were incredible hosts - they made sure the hot tub was warm for us each day and were responsive to whatever we needed. The place itself is GORGEOUS - we didn’t leave once and were entertained the entire time, even in the rain. It was the perfect spot for a girls weekend. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to be back at some point! Can’t recommend enough.

Raquel was a great host, making us feel very welcome, accommodating us and communicating extensively when we had some issues with ferry travel. Would highly recommend!

What an absolute gem of an airbnb. We had our privacy the entire stay. Cabin was spacious and was spotlessly clean upon arrival. Well stocked kitchen with a comfortable living space. The backyard was spacious enough for our big dog and there are many trails close by. The fire pit with the lawn chairs allowed us to sit back and relax with a nice fire. This was a great getaway. I highly recommend Keitha’s Airbnb!

the condo is very clean, well kept, great details and in a very good location. what I did not like was the noise level. although its the 28th floor but the street and metro noise is surprisingly high for such a high floor. I would still go back again to this place as the overall stay was good. also the 3rd br is good for 1 person that is very easy going as it has no windows, no ventilation and no space to walk around. again everything was exactly like the photos so no surprises other than the noise level.
