The View to Drangarnar, Tindholm end Mykines

This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Enjoy a stay steeped in history in a renovated 100-year-old Faroese warehouse on the water’s edge in the local habour. Fully renovated in 2019, Løðupakkhúsið features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and wooden flooring. House by the sea and The Seal Woman

A house on the edge of the cliff. Direct view form the living area of the famous statue "The Seal Woman" and the steepest mountains in the Faroe Island. On 1st floor there is kitchen and living room in one room. In the kitchen there are the normal facilities. There is also a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that can accommodate 7 people. Outside the house there is a small balcony, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. You need to take a ferry to get to the house.

New and cozy cabin

The house is completely renovated. we have our goose walking right outside the house. The airport is within walking distance. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the airport. 5 minutes walking distance to our local grocery store. About 15 min walking distance to the ferry Jósup to Mykines. There are 2 bedrooms with each dobbel bed. There are good view from the house Its very beautyfull to see the airplane so close. Its easy to come to the house, it’s only one step up to the front door.

The apartment is located in Sørvágur, with a great wiev over Sørvágsfjord and the Island og Mykines. It is located just 2 min drive from the airport, and a few minutes drive to Gásadalur, Múlafoss, Sørvágsvatn, Trælanýpa, and the ferry to Mykines, and boattrips are just a few minutes away. There are good parking conditions.

Karsten and Durita are the very best hosts! They were hospitable, friendly and very helpful, far behind their host duties ❣️ The apartment is absolutely wonderful, well equipped and with a really great view. It is a calm place, where you can relax after busy days outdoors in the Faroe Islands. We spent a great 12 nights and days there. The only negative thing was, that we had to leave ☺️

As we arrived Sunneva was waiting with Coffee, James and warm bead to welcome us. The flat was cosy and we feel like at home. Parking place was just in front of the house in a quiet area with harbour view.
