Had a wonderful week long stay working from the apartment and enjoying Profondeville and its surroundings. We cycled to Dinant amd Namur along the river path and walked in the forest up in the hills behind the town. Profondeville has nice bars, restaurants bakeries and shops. The apartment is really nicely equipped. Spacious and very charming. One of our best Airbnb experiences, and we have had lots.

The apartment is decorated with a lot of love and has charm, so you feel very comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and we had a very pleasant and entertaining evening. I'd love to stay there again. Michael has an excellent restaurant in the neighboring country, other restaurants and bars, a park, the train station and all shops are within walking distance.

Nice accommodation with large open kitchen and living room to sit with everyone. Ideal as a starting point for cycling and enough space in the garage to store the bikes.

We had a pleasant stay. The setting is quiet, in the house there are activities, billiards, foosball, ping pong was very popular. There is nothing missing, there is plenty of space. Definitely recommend!!

Our 8-person travel group had a wonderful stay at Laurence and Olivier's. It offers various possibilities to avoid boredom even on rainy days. The kitchen is super equipped and offers many cooking options. The bedrooms were comfortably furnished. The beds were all very comfortable and we felt at home. The surroundings are diverse and the nature is beautiful. The photos are true. If we had any questions, we always got quick and helpful answers. We will be happy to come back :)

A wonderful weekend at Stéphane and Dominique's. We regret not extending our stay to enjoy the place and surroundings. Nice and peaceful little brunch on Sunday morning on the terrace. Our daughter, who got married the day before, enjoyed the calm and peaceful nature after this festive event! We highly recommend the Gîte du Commandant 🙏

Sylvie and Olivier were the perfect hosts, and made every effort to make our stay as perfect as possible from the moment we arrived. Even borrowed us some charcoal to have a barbecue! Any queries we had were answered quickly and helpfully. This is a beautiful little house, in a quiet little neighbourhood. We don’t usually return to the same place, but given the excellent experience we had, this might just happen one day. Would recommend!

What an amazing place to stay! Right on the Meuse river. Brilliant. The property itself is lovely, internet is good, tvs with Netflix etc in all rooms. Just a note that you do need own sheets or costs extra. This was somewhat lost in translation for us. Host was brilliant. Helpful and responsive. Note that finding the property can be a bit difficult as it’s not on a road but a bike path. But you will figure it out :) Would love to stay here again, was excellent.

With 4 couples had an excellent stay. 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 with ensuite bathroom and 2 with a shared bathroom. Upstairs and downstairs toilet. Clean sheets and towels, soap, shower gel, washing machine and dryer, everything is present, including kitchen towels, dreft, salt, pepper, spices. Really equipped with all the comforts and conveniences. We ate BBQ for 2 days, appliance was brand new and solid. Hikers can indulge in the area. For sightseeing it is a bit further to drive, but our day trip to Reims was easy to do. Bouillon is also not far away. Provide yourself with enough food and drink because there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. The reception was fine and friendly. A top destination for this price!

Beautiful apartment in the city center. Decorated with great care and perfectly equipped. We also found the apartment to be very clean and the bedding very comfortable. We will go back without hesitation.

Great place to stay, easy to access, and a quick and helpful host

It's a wow factor apartment with an amazing view of Hotel De Ville right out the window - especially beautiful at night. The apartment was on the 5th floor with an elevator with plenty of free street parking available at all times, no hassles there. The furnishings were new and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals at home easily. The bathroom was compact but practical and squeaky clean. The bed was super comfortable with room to hang and store clothing. A washing machine/dryer was in the unit as was and iron and ironing board. It was light and airy and smelt fresh and new each time you walked in. It's a great base to explore the surrounding areas and an easy 15 minute walk into the old town (Place Ducale) - plenty to do in the area. Geraldine was a super host, she greeted us and checked in on us during our stay, which was super nice of her. We were there on a Saturday so saw 5 weddings at the Hotel De Ville - very special.

Wonderful apartment right on the Maas, perfect for excursions by bike and car. In the small garden behind the house, you can enjoy breakfast and dinner in nature and watch the swallows hunt. Francis & Catherine's apartment is highly recommended.

Perfect base for hiking in the Ardennes. Bakery, butcher and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was spacious and tastefully furnished. Please note that you have to go up 2 floors via a metal outside staircase. There is also no air conditioning, which can sometimes get hot in the summer if the apartment is right under the roof. We loved our stay!
