I had an extended stay with Russ and Ketta. The apartment is fantastic; clean, beautifully decorated, and in a very safe and convenient location. The kitchen has all the tools you could possibly need. The WiFi is blazing fast and I've been able to have video calls and stream shows without any problems. The property is across the street from the lake, and the backyard has beautiful flowers and trees (great bird watching), as well as chairs and a fire pit. The hosts are friendly, responsive, and really helpful. They've gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable, while still giving me privacy. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you for a wonderful summer, Russ and Ketta!

Russ was very accommodating, I was thankful they helped me keep my motorcycle safe in their garage so it was not stolen. The location is very special. I would suggest they remove the dedicated workspace from the listing as there was no office space for us to work remotely. This may not be an issue for all future people staying but there was some street construction happening that was not communicated and very distracting and took away from the experience.

The place was super cute, exactly what we were looking for as we waited for possession of our house. It had a full kitchen which was perfect. The place was super close to the lake and lots of walking trails and easily walkable to the downtown as well. It was always quiet and the building was well maintained! We would definitely recommend to stay! Bonus that it was pet friendly so we could have our dog with us

Wade's place was super nice and clean, as well as incredibly spacious. Not to mention it was very well stocked. We had no problems settling in and were so comfortable for the remainder of our time there. Way better and more affordable than a motel option for our group!

This home and the grounds are spectacular. The home is expansive, clean, and very well appointed, with an inviting kitchen, TV viewing room, and plenty of bedrooms / bathrooms for family / friend gatherings. The yard is massive, with a beautiful view of Cold Lake, allowing for a variety of activities in the daytime, and a fire pit for evening gatherings. The dock area is charming, and there is enjoyable canoeing in the southern part of the lake. The home is minutes from a provincial park, with good trails and a beautiful beach area. The Cold Lake museums in town are also interesting to explore for aircraft enthusiasts. Joe and Jazelle, as others have said, are excellent hosts, among the most responsive I’ve had. They were generous with their time / information, and communication was excellent - when we experienced a problem with WiFi and one with plumbing, they were quick to respond and find solutions. We look forward to a return visit, hopefully soon!
