The Beach House was exactly as described - tastefully remodeled while retaining the classic Aptos Beach bungalow vibe. Very thoughtfully prepared with outdoor games and items you would need for a beach getaway. The outdoor area and backyard are cleverly organized for everything you would want. I just wish we could have stayed longer (and had warmer weather!). Lots of great information in the folder for things to do and places to eat. Kudos!!

This was our third stay at the Blue Whale Bungalow, and it remains our favorite place to stay in Rio del Mar! Mariam is a wonderful and generous host who immediately remembered our family and welcomed our two dogs. The Blue Whale Bungalow is clean and cozy, with everything you need to enjoy the beach or relax indoors. It is located just two blocks from the beach, where you can enjoy the ocean breeze, search for sea glass, and admire the beautiful sunsets. We look forward to visiting the Blue Whale Bungalow very soon!

This place was amazing. It was pretty centrally located for anything you would want and need. It was so peaceful. The home was clean and spacious for our family of 5.

Our family rented the home with adu unit and it was worth the experience. The kitchen was the main highlight and we spent most of our time there. Highly recommend this home for a large family trip but still feel right at home. The home had all the ammenities provided and the location was very safe with a nice park for kids to play closeby. Eric was a pleasure to communicate and any concenrs were addressed promptly. Wish we stayed longer. Truly a value for the location.

Carolyn's place was immaculate, comfy, cozy and well equipped for all our needs. Loved having a washer/dryer and onsite parking . Location is close to grocery stores ( so convenient to have Safeway and Trader Joe's across the street) and Monterey We appreciated all of Carolyn's suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you Carolyn!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. It was a BEAUTIFUL home, fully equipped. Our family traveled with kids, and the back yard was a welcomed escape. The location was walkable to downtown Burlingame, which was perfect for restaurants and grocery.

Wonderful host, beautiful unit. We had extended family visit us in the Bay Area and the unit was perfect for the multi-generational extended family with room and privacy for everyone. Even the pickiest said the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked, and the outside space and dedicated parking are a plus. We will book it again for our visiting family.

Totally worth every penny. 2.5 baths were very helpful for 6 people. Neat rooms. Very organized. Laundry pods dishwasher pods were also provided. Very thoughtful of what is needed. Made us want to return to airbnb after a tiring day. I think that is all you need when you are away from home.

The place was beautiful and walkable to a grocery store and restaurants. A couple of blocks from the water! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony for the late afternoon sun and later in the evening. I highly recommend this spot!

This is one of the most beautiful properties you could ever stay at. Peaceful, serene, and beautifully maintained. It is two thousand feet up and the views are spectacular. The hosts were very responsive and proactive and made me feel right at home and are the most kind people that has ever hosted me. I have found my new place to stay when working in San Jose.

Great place - very close to downtown Palo Alto. Host was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay there again and even recommended it to my work colleagues who travel frequently to the area!

This place was just perfect for a getaway! My daughter and I spent 2 nights there and just relished our time by the beach, in the rain, and in this cozy, comfortable little home away from home. It is spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. It is pristine and as photographed. Everything seems brand new. It was stormy while we were there: we appreciated all the space to read and relax after our rainy walks. Downtown HMB is fun for shopping and eating out. The beach is very close with a wonderful path: we walked for miles. Michelle was great. I would absolutely stay here again.

Edward’s place was a great stay in San Jose. Short drive or uber to downtown restaurants and reasonable distance to hiking and other attractions. Edward was a friendly host who shared a lot of recommendations with us. The place was very private and clean

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and the ocean. Perfect place for wildlife viewing. We enjoyed the comfortable seating area with panoramic coastline views through the large picture windows. There's also a nice deck attached to the living room and master bedroom.

This place is stunning! Hosts reached out to let me know they were available if I needed anything. It was clean, Cozy , Everything was labeled to make it easy to find things. Spacious! Had great recommendations readily available. It was well worth what I paid! It’s not often I feel at home in airbnbs but this place offered that environment! Location is walking distance to the beach. Shop, restaurants, and it’s quiet in the evenings! Highly highly recommend!

This was the cleanest AirBnB we've ever stayed in! Pristine! Tidy! Stunning ocean views from both the living room & primary bedroom. The entire villa has been remodeled yet still has the Old World Charm and coziness. This Villa is located on the 2nd floor of North Bluff - is very private - has a pool jacuzzi just steps away. The resort offers many amenities, restaurant, bar, room service (or pick up) massage, sauna - endless. Aptos Village is right across the street - walking distance offering many shops, market and a great place for pizza and Italian food. We will definitely stay with Sue again - as soon as we can! Next time, we'll try her other property #33. Sue is a GREAT hostess in every area and has earned Super Host many times over!

What a lovely place with stunning views. Appointed to the highest level with a wellstocked kitchen. Lots of food options to eat within only a few minutes walk from the penthouse. Two ways to access the place via back gate with security code or through front door and elevator If you prefer a very dark bedroom/s you won’t get that here so luckily I had my eyepatch to knock me out. You might pay a pretty penny for this place, but you will definitely notice it better than just about anything you could ever hope to find

We really enjoyed our stay at Marc’s lovely beach rental. Everything was as described, Marc sent clear messages regarding check in and necessities provided. Location was central to a lot of the day trips we had planned, (Monterey Bay Aquarium, Carmel/Point Lobos, and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk), but still off the beaten path offering a restful private retreat. My daughter enjoyed riding her bike around the pond path. Marc offered a very nice assortment of beach gear and toys. The beds were better than most, and I appreciated the queen/twin combo room instead of a typical twin/twin offering in the second bedroom. I really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, sharp knives and pantry basics. In the future I would pack a few pans since the non stick cookware was pretty beat. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

Loved this place! Right by Capitola wharf so it was super easy to walk downtown for dinner and shopping. The apartment was bigger than I expected, super clean, and had everything we needed. Jennifer was very helpful and got back to us right away when we had questions. Definitely staying here again next time we visit!

Staying at Seascape was the perfect kid-friendly vacation. The pool was easy to access from our condo and the views were beautiful. The condo's set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was great for our family of 5. The private beach was beautiful - we saw otters, whales, and my son found two perfect sand dollars walking down the beach. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach with three little kids and all the beach gear, but once we were there no one wanted to leave. Several near-by restaurants were delicious, especially the newly opened Dos Pescados. It was fairly easy to get into Santa Cruz too, but we did have to time traffic or it would double the drive time (to almost 45 minutes).

Beautiful little place, with picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean and natural landscaping. Clean, comfortable and easy access. Lots of security that patrolled day and night, which is nice. Fine dining restaurant is within walking distance.
