I and my family visited this beautiful farm house for a day’s vacation. It was the best farm stay I ever had. The house was so nice and clean. Moreover, the surroundings were mesmerising and peaceful. I would love to stay here for longer if I ever visit Canada again. Thanks Olivia for sharing your beautiful place.

We were in a dream. The place is wonderful and very peaceful. Not only we enjoyed the place, and how peaceful and private it is but the surroundings full of nature. We definitely will be back! it was a perfect get away for my family and pups.

Karen's suite was lovely and had everything you could need and then some. We appreciated the water and sparkling water she left for us in the fridge. This location was perfect for us as it was only an 8 minute drive away from Lake Dore where our son has a trailer. The town of Eganville is sweet, and the neighbourhood is very peaceful. We would have sat out on the lovely back patio with our morning coffee if it hadn't been so cold that weekend. The path to the back of the house (where the suite entrance is) has sensor lights so we had no trouble walking down it after dark. The only thing to note is that if you are a taller person (5' 10" plus) you will have to duck down a bit to have a shower. Otherwise, the bathroom was lovely and Karen left a basket of various toiletries, in case you forgot something. All in all a great place to stay!

We originally booked this location as a centrally hub for all of the places and things we wanted to do during our long weekend stay - Algonquin to the west, Ottawa to the east, Chutes Coulonge Park to the north in Quebec, and the Bonnechere Caves locally. Not only did this location satisfy this but, upon arrival, we quickly knew it would be so much more than just a resting place! Kath's place was peaceful and quiet, situated on a beautiful lake with lots of activities to do even if you aren't venturing out. She has seemingly thought of everything as there was nothing we were ever lacking during our stay. Kath herself was very proactive in her communications, responsive to any questions before and during, and overall just such a lovely person! We would absolutely recommend this location to others looking to explore the area or as a serene getaway!
