Cosy Hilltop Getaway in Donegal

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Alison’s place was absolutely perfect. It was so peaceful and the property was beautiful. The room was beautifully decorated and Alison stocked it with multiple snacks and drinks. Overall, Alison was an amazing host. She was very responsive and gave us fantastic recommendations on where to visit during our stay. She even drove us into town one night and called a taxi for us at an unreasonable hour. She was absolutely lovely and I highly recommend her place.

Point View Cabin

Caroline’s place is such a find. She has decorated it really lovely and feels so homely. The whole place was immaculate and so clean. There are extra little touches everywhere and the kitchen is very well equipped. Caroline was extremely responsive to any questions I had and you felt it was no trouble asking her anything. It’s a great location for Killybegs and the surrounding area. It felt very private and had a lovely decking area outside where you could enjoy the beautiful views. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to visiting again.

★ Spacious & Modern | In the ♥ of Donegal Town ★

This place suited our needs perfectly. Donegal town itself is a beautiful place with lots of good pubs and restaurants and plenty to do. We also used it as a base to explore the incredible Donegal countryside. I think this rates as one of the top places we have stayed on AirBnb.
A well-maintained outdoor area overlooks Inver Bay, featuring lush green grass and inviting hedges. A sturdy fence marks the boundary, separating the property from the scenic bay. The expansive blue sky reflects on the water, with distant hills visible along the horizon.

Only stayed here one night as we passed through Donegal, but it was a great little place looking out over the water. Nice and peaceful!

Wee Escape - Donegal Town

This property is ideal for touring the northwest of Ireland, and Northern Ireland. We played golf at the wonderful Blacklion golf course, which is about an hour away by road. We also hit balls at Donegal golf course just for practice. We took a day trip to Londonderry to study some of the history and enjoy the amenities. The property itself is excellent 2 1/2 bathrooms two bedrooms, spacious kitchen and a very nice lounge. Highly recommended.

A warm entryway showcases a carpeted staircase leading to the upper level. Light-colored walls enhance the brightness, while wooden steps provide a natural contrast. A doorway on the left opens to a separate room, and a framed nature photograph adds a personal touch.

Spacious Rural Getaway - Donegal

NicoleRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We just had a weekend stay at Darraghs place, and honestly, we could not find one fault with it. The house is beautifully kept, immaculately clean, extremely spacious with a lovely big garden for the dogs to run around in also. Everything you needed was available, and there was a lovely welcome touch when we arrived also. Darragh was very responsive when asked any questions also, a great host who allowed you all the privacy you needed. The surrounding area is also spectacular. We hope to return again very soon.
