We really enjoyed our stay. Derrywood is a short walk from the centre of Braemar. It is a great base for exploring the local area and hiking the Munros. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and well equipped and the hosts very accommodating, approachable and friendly. Would definitely stay again

Perfect Christmas getaway in this beautiful house that instantly felt like home. Clear instructions to arrive and access the property and a helpful guide book on the inside. Huge space to spread out in once inside the house. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need and more, only down side was the plates and utensils/cutlery were a little grubby and all needed a good clean before they could be used. Coffee machine could be listed as I would have brought pods with me. There was even a slow cooker which really came in handy and plenty of Pyrex dishes and knives. Beds all comfy and bedrooms spacious, again with everything you need including a hair dryer! Plenty of storage space and hangers and nice thick towels provided. Utility room a godsend with a large family and meant I could keep on top of the washing, only thing missing was a clothes airer as not everything can be tumble dried. We planned a magical Christmas break and that’s exactly what we got, thank you.

Stayed for 3 nights at this remarkable property. If you are contemplating holidaying here I urge you do it, just book it now! husband, dog & I revelled in this haven of a house and it felt mansion sized, you can lose yourself among the generously proportioned rooms. The heart of the house being the huge traditional kitchen with welcoming raeburn stove which flows seamlessly into one of the most comfortable living rooms we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. We loved the tasteful decoration throughout & the carefully curated quirky modern & antique mix of furnishings. Outside the hot tub is of a very high, quality standard & and those powerful wee jets were an absolute tonic after a day’s hillwalking! Did I mention the owner’s attention to detail? And at last, Someone who understands the importance of silky soft & crisp bedding!! Peaceful setting with the joy of hooting owls & the odd stag grazing in the field in the evenings. Great find in Callanders main street. Three spacious bedrooms, nice sitting area, hot tub, outstide games room and pretty outdoor undercover seating area. Fully equipped kitchen with provisions and cleaning products. Close to various nature walks and lovely restaurants nearby also. Definitely value for money.

The house was exactly what we needed for a girls weekend away. We found it easily and arrived to fresh scones and prosecco, which was lovely. The house was clean and well-stocked, with plenty wood available for the fire. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was lovely and warm. Sitting in the hot tub looking out at the hills and river was very peaceful and relaxing. We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage, we had a great time and felt right at home. Considering how important this building is historically it’s amazing that they let people stay overnight and cook in there! It’s very peaceful except on two evenings a group led by a reenactor were rather enthusiastic beneath the window! Only lasted ten minutes and it wasn’t later than 8.30pm. The bathroom gets rather chilly after 11pm when the heating goes off! A minor inconvenience and there is a real gas fire in the bedroom!

We loved this apartment. It was warm, cosy, comfortable and very colourful. It was perfect for us, we felt right at home there. Ross had left for us things that make a living space a home. Toiletries, condiments etc. he was there when we arrived and had taken our shopping delivery in. He is kind and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay, including local restaurants etc

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to meet either Susan or Amit, but I only mention this because the written communication was so good. Their top floor apartment is very convenient to Edinburgh’s popular sights, very clean, and just the right size for 2-3 people.

We had lovely stay at Gareth’s apartment. It was a brilliant location with just a 5 minute walk away from any popular attractions in Edinburgh. The apartment itself was spotless and even came with essentials like milk, sugar, coffee, and tea. We would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Edinburgh.

A beautiful home centrally located, a very short stroll to the harbour. Clean, homey and warm. Highly recommend!

We loved the flat!! The location was great. I will say that the road is now closed to vehicles… our Uber dropped us as close as he could. We did have to walk a tiny bit with our bags to the door of the building. Several locals weren’t sure when the road would open back up. BUT! The location can’t be beat. So many things to see and do within a 5 min walk!! Would stay with Charlotte again for sure.

Very comfortable house right in the heart of Newtonmore - was a perfect location for a family winter break. Lots of space with 2 lounges and generously sized bedrooms. Really well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen in particular plus lots of games and books for the wet days (there were a few!). Off-street parking, nearby co-op shop and responsive hosts made for a stress free and enjoyable stay. We hope to be back!

What an amazing house and location. We have had a magical Christmas with everything we needed; walks, tennis, piano. The layout of the house and expansive living space suited us very well. The dog was as thrilled as her humans. The kitchen/dining room/glassware/crockery/cutlery are genuinely set up for a huge number which makes catering so much easier. As long as you don’t mind a short walk, Banchory is accessible by foot- you need a head torch in Winter! Definitely on the repeat list!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house in Fife! We were a big group of three families, and the space was perfect for everyone. The house is spacious, well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our large group, and the dining area was perfect for family dinners. The location was also great – close to local attractions and beautiful coastal walks. The outdoor space was perfect for the kids to play, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway with a large group. We hope to return again!

The place is amazing! So warm for such a big space because downstairs was all under floor heating, very modern with a lovely rustic feel. Spotless, lovely and clean. The beds were MASSIVE and so comfortable, the showers were brilliant. One of the nicest places I have stayed in, definitely worth the price.

Fantastic property in the heart of Crieff just a few minutes walk to town centre. The property itself was excellent, the attention to detail was fantastic, little notes and helpful signs around the home which was a nice touch. The kitchen had everything you need and more. The bathrooms were lovely and clean with good showers. The garden area was great too, particularly as it was nice weather when we were there. We ate in a few nice restaurants in town and were not disappointed. Overall a great break in a fantastic property in a lovely location……would highly recommend,
