Vacation rentals in Black Dub

We have just returned from a weekend away at this beautiful villa for a family weekend away. Beautiful location with spectacular scenery on the drive in. The villa has the wow factor. Home from home, the hosts have thought of everything and we couldn’t think of a single improvement except for a guest book so we could write our positive thoughts and recommendations in person of places to visit in the area for other visitors to read. The kids loved the park, ducks and football court, they also loved reading in the villa and playing board games which were all in the villa to use. Myself and my partner enjoyed walking around the site and spending quality time as a family. We couldn’t recommend this villa or hosts more highly and we thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us so we could make forever memories to treasure. Stephanie, Scott and family 🙏🏻

We had a fantastic stay at Sally’s house. The huge space was perfect for 2 adults and 5 kids. The location is very peaceful and only a short drive to amenities like shops and restaurants. The house is wonderful. Well appointed, clean and very cosy. We would definitely stay again if we were back in the area.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Greg’s place “Penthouse”. Communication was very clear and with all the information we needed to hit the ground running on our little trip away to Bowness. We found the place easy enough thanks to the instructions provided by Greg and it was great to have private, dedicated parking space - something we’ve not had before when we’ve stayed in such a central location before. Self check in was really smooth using the lockbox to let ourselves In. The penthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfy and didn’t want to get up this morning! Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed to cook a fab breakfast before heading out for a days walking. And the view from the living area, wow! The location of penthouse was second to none, only 2 minutes walk and we were in Bowness where there was a great selection of bars and restaurants for our evening meal and a few drinks. Overall a fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

We all had an amazing time at Richard’s house. The house is so big with lots of comfy places to chill out! Very peaceful and secluded. Beautiful church and river to explore. The house had everything that you could possibly need especially in the kitchen. The pool table was great as we had a full day in because of the weather - the kids loved it. There are a few take away shops in Longtown. a well stocked supermarket and a pub serving basic pub grub. We loved every minute!

Amazing little home, easy to find, clear instructions in a beautiful location

We had an incredible stay at Francesca’s beautiful home! The design of the house is simply gorgeous, with stunning house plants throughout. The garden is both spacious and private—a perfect escape. The highlight for our boys was definitely the natural pool. Even when the temperature was only 18-20 degrees, they were still eager to jump in and swim. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, fully stocked with everything you could need—there’s even a coffee machine and a blender, plus every spice imaginable! A sweet little surprise was the rabbit on the balcony, which our boys adored—though our dog had a bit of an adjustment period and barked at it for the first day or so. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Francesca, for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Great location, the place itself was immaculately clean with everyone you could need to stay, philip thought of everything. Will def be hoping to stay again in the future.

Absolutely fabulous. Otto was really friendly and helpful. The property itself is really high spec not stayed anywhere that comes even close. Comfy king size beds, great power shower in en suite. The size of the property is very deceiving from the front, once inside wow, extremely spacious with a large garden and patio area. Within walking distance of all shops, pubs and the lake. All in all exactly as it says on the tin, well done to all who have worked to make and maintain this property definitely worthy of its 5 star rating. Would definately recommend and would love to return.
