Kate’s place is stunning! This was a great hideaway for a long chilly weekend in January! Kate was really helpful, flexible and responsive. The artist retreat was really beautiful with gorgeous furnishings, linen, bathrooms, kitchen appliances, everything! Hot tub was great and a nice added feature :) The underfloor heating was such a treat! It was super peaceful and uninterrupted :)

My son and I enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable break and were only sorry that we only had two nights! The cottage was really lovely with everything you could possibly need including a very helpful folder with lots of suggestions and ideas. The extra touches, like milk and butter in the fridge, were really appreciated. This is the best property by far that we have ever stayed in in terms of provision of logs and lighting materials for the fire, which, given that we were there during a chilly snap in January, was really appreciated. The charge for the property was also very modest, meaning that we enjoyed a very economical yet luxurious break. I would hi #ghly recommend this cottage and think that the owner has done a marvellous job with it.

We booked Glebe House for a late Christmas family get together. The venue was the perfect setting in a tranquil, rural location but also not far from Salisbury if one wished for a bit more action. The bedrooms are well proportioned, the beds were very comfortable, bedlinen, duvet and pillows were all clean and soft. Plenty towels on offer. The kitchen is very well appointed. Lots of space. There was a double oven and smaller oven for all the cooking for a large group. Victoria provided the necessary utensils - e.g. scales, whisk, blender, lots of crockery and cutlery, glasses and champagne glasses. Very well stocked indeed. We enjoyed all sitting around the large dining table catching up. I thoroughly approved of the recycling policies in place, especially the food waste, as this is the bulk of one's waste. We were provided with a lovely brand of shampoo, conditioner and hand gel in all bathrooms. So many places don't do that! And enough toilets rolls which is unusual.

Beautiful Thatched cottage but with the added bonus of all modern conveniences, lovely peaceful setting in a very quiet lane a stream and a bridge running through the village near by, All modern conveniences for a comfortable stay The cottage was lovely and clean warm which was very welcoming as we arrived on a cold windy day in December after visiting the Bath Christmas markets, Beds were comfortable with soft clean linen and plenty of nice clean towels provided also well stocked with essentials such as toilet rolls dishwashing tablets. We had my 3 and a half year old grandson with us and we enjoyed the games cupboard very much especially the marble run, We visited Longlete Safari Father Christmas experience and festival of light which was a short drive away through some lovely countryside and villages. A very enjoyable and comfortable stay

My wife and I wanted a couple of days away with our dog, and Lucy’s little gem was perfect The hosts were super friendly, but out the way enough and the location and house were ideal for us during our stay

This was my first experience of Airbnb and it exceeded my expectations! If you go to Longleat, you must stay here, everything was perfect from the location, to the facilities to the host Andrew who was superb. Nothing was too much trouble and I would give 10 stars if I could, we’ll be back!

Beautiful, warm, clean spacious house in a quiet but central position with parking for 3 cars. Samantha provided everything that we could have wished for and decorated the house for Christmas. We had a great time and Tisbury is not only a beautiful village but it has amazing places around it to visit. We recommend the Boot Inn just around there corner for a meal out. All in all a very happy few days.

Before we even arrived my sister and I knew we would love Stanleys cottage, and bot just from the pictures. Stanleys communication was kind and helpful and he was quick to respond. Stanleys directions and details of the house were in-depth and spot on. We just loved the homely feel of his home. It is obviously a place that he loves to retreat to and display the hundreds of books he has, and all the lovingly collected, unusual things from his travels. As a keen traveller and retired Travel Consultant it was bliss for me. The kitchen had everything and more that we needed. It is spacious and again homely and welcoming. We found the information folders full of things to see and do, if only we had more time! Thank you so much Stanley for sharing your lovely home.

Very respectful and warm upon greeting. Lovely tidy little place with all the amenities you'll need for a stay that has you feeling like you're right at home. Plenty to see and do in not only the town it's in, but public transport nearby can take you to neighbouring towns and cities quickly. Every aspect of my stay was 10/10 and I highly recommend this place as a great stay! Thank you.
