Moose & Merlin Glamping Cabin

This cabin is a palace for seasoned campers and glamping for people who are not as outdoorsy. Comfy queen bed, a mini wood stove, and a unique style made from scratch by a thrifty woman and her carpenter dad. There is electricity. The kitchen is simple: No running water but a sink and water provided. No fridge but a cooler and endless ice packs available. No wifi in the cabin itself but available a short walk away. There is cell service. An outhouse 25 seconds away. Shower available by request.

From base camp, attractions on the trail and elsewhere are easily accessed resulting in saving time and money as daily concerns with check-in and out times are eliminated. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.
