Eylin is a brilliant host! Very communicative, very friendly and caring. We've felt like home in her cozy little house straight away. You'll find everything you need there in the house to rest after an adventourous day out, space to prepare your own meal and space to just chill out on the comfy sofa or play board games :) A huge bonus of Eylin's place is a private pool at the back of the house. If you are not into cooking, just ask Eylin, she'll reccomend you a place to eat in! Plenty of places in close neighbourhood offering various activities, but if you don't know which one to choose, once again, ask Eylin, she'll come up with reccomendation for you! :)

This home is beautiful! Hidden right in the center of La Fortuna, with a great volcano view, and a walkable distance to many shops and restaurants. Everything was super clean when we checked in. Marvin even picked us up from the airport and offered very fairly priced transportation. He also gave great food and activity recommendations, and even arranged private tours for us. Definitely would stay at his place again!

This apartment is a slice of heaven, the view is spectacular, the kitchen has everything you need, it’s the perfect place to chill. Tanya and Rod are the best hosts, the amenities are great. The only thing is that you need a 4x4, the dirt roads are really in a bad shape and if you use them every day your car will suffer.

We had a wonderful stay at Erick’s place on our trip to La Fortuna. The house was beautiful and fully equipped with everything you needed. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area again.

Neal and Diane were very helpful. we had some issues with the car, contacting folks back home. They gave us some good tips. I had an issue with my knee and they gave me the number to a physical therapist in the area. Claudia was great, I was experiencing no pain by the time I left. The pool was a good place to watch storms move in and out from. The birds and other ani.als made it wonderful to look at. There property is just so beautiful. Tronodora is small but has all the things in a short walk for a long stay or a short stay. We had a car but on most days we simply walked into town. We fid hang out with there two dogs, Franny and Albert. They were cute, loving, creatures.

Patry was incredibly communicative and kind during our stay. The Air BnB was just as described and close to many activities. During our stay we easily visited Arenal, Místico, and Two Little Monkeys. We highly recommend Patry and this AirBnB.

Great spot in a quiet neighborhood, close to the supermarket and restaurants. We walked to the Red Frog several times for coffee and meals. 20 min drive to Arenal Park and Mystico. Great touches around the home. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful private location with lots of things to do nearby. The private pool and grill were perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures. Randall responded quickly with any questions or recommendations that we had. Would definitely recommend staying here

Our stay here was so perfect. We saw so many bird species (Marco sets out fresh fruit for them in the morning), and we got blessed with visits from sweet neighbor dogs, and even howler monkeys on our last day. We couldn’t believe the size of the plants all over the garden, it was truly stunning. We took full advantage of the swimming pool and cabana and we are so glad we chose to stay here!

Cristian was great! Helps with transportation if needed, recommended a tour company for the excursions I booked. Beautiful and secure, pool was amazing. Walls a little thin as far as the other rooms so when another person booked next door I could hear everything. But super nice, great for one person or a couple. Especially if your plans aren’t to stay in the room (which you shouldn’t La fortuna has so much to do)

Ferminc's place was absolutely stunning. The view from our cabin was gorgeous., excellent value for the price we paid. We love El Castillo , a small town, but fits our needs. The restaurant served delicious food with a flair .

Very beautiful accommodation, comfortable and spacious, only the bedroom is a little small but the rest is comfortable. It is located within a lot with many houses but it is very well cared for and is quiet. The location is excellent, just one block from downtown. I loved it and would definitely come back.

We had a great stay at the Nest. Easy to find. Easy check in. Fully equipped. Very spacious. Great location. Friendly and responsive host. I have nothing bad to say we had a great stay and would definitely stay there again 👌🏾

This was a lovely cabin in an excellent location walkable to the Cloud Forest. It was also one of the cleanest Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. The bedding and towels were really nice and they provided plenty of everything. Even more than we needed. The bathroom was also really clean which we appreciated. Our dogs had a good time and the view of the trees from the living room was really beautiful. The place also looked better in person than in the photos. We didn't use the fireplace but it was a very nice feature. I thought the price was really good for everything that we got. The yard surrounding the cabin was also really nice and felt private. I would recommend this place.

The stay at Zaca’s was serene and private! We loved being close to both Santa Elena and Monteverde reserves. The restaurants nearby were great, and we took one of Zaca’s recommendations to go to Tramonti and it was amazing! Zaca is very responsive and friendly, and also left little chocolates and apples for us as well. The tiny house did always feel just slightly damp but you are in the cloud forest so everywhere is damp! I would recommend this place and would return if I am back in the area!

She was great! We didn’t have anything planned and she was able to do it it all for us and more affordable.
