Adorable stone house in historic village.

This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.

Possibility for a family with 2 children as there is a sofa bed. It is located in a peaceful village dominated by a 12th century keep. 100 meters from many shops (bakery, butcher, restaurant, bar, tobacco press, bank, hairdresser, food market every morning except Monday until 1 p.m.). Supermarket 3 km away. 20 minutes from Angoulême and 40 minutes from Cognac.
